Minnesota has been actively shopping the number two pick in hopes of acquiring a proven veteran.

Ye Gods.

It would be quicker to write a list of teams we haven't offered pick 2.

FWIW Wolves fans stateside reckon the Gasol stuff was BS. The Bogut offer was very real however.

So David Kahn I have a novel idea for you. Just use pick 2 on the BPA and keep him. May I suggest Biyombooooooooo!

Firstly, I dont think Kahn knows what BPA is. Secondly, Big Smack belongs to Detroit. We need him to be Ben Wallace 2.0. He even said he wants to come to Detroit in this interview

BPA at 2 is Bismack? He needs to be in the league with that name, but from what I've seen he's barely the BPA @ 15

I've heard we wouldn't take him at 16 if someone like Vucevic is there.

Why not? You could certainly say Valanciunas as well.

In this draft we have Enes Kanter who has played 30 mins of pro ball and spent all of the last NCAA season sitting in the stands after he was ruled ineligible. WIll anyone bat an eyelid if he goes top 6 on the basis of a trial game 2 years ago?

People trading up for Jimmer Fredette FFS, the mormon Kyle Korver.

Biyombo has been playing pro ball in Spain; he has an actual body of work at the pro level. Per 36 stats: 12 pts, 10 reb and 5 blocks. DX have him rated only behind Valanciunas for big men in this draft pool. And he has a 7'6" wingspan. He is actually a ****ing aeroplane!

Biyombo hype seems to have died down.

Had that month where he was all the rage. Now he's a late lottery pick.

Had a rotten workout in Europe recently. But again it ignores the body of work on court.

I don't see Biyombo sliding out of the top 10 simply because in a draft where you are probably going to be taking a flyer anyway, it might as well be on a guy that has the physical tools to completely dominate a game. He also appears to have his head screwed on right, so if the talent is there, you can be sure it is every chance to come out.

Not to mention that it was basically a shoot around and that is clearly Biyombo's weakest area. If you draft him, you are drafting him for rebounds, blocks, dunks and defense, not his shooting ability. He'll most likely go somewhere between about 6 and the end of the lottery

nash to wolves for no 2 pick!!!!!

Suns won't do that to Nash.

Not happening.

Suns are keen on Williams who would be the next franchise player and being from Arizona helps the appeal.

There's been a lot of scuttlebutt concerning trading Nash or Gortat to the Wolves for #2 pick, but it appears rubbish, just like the Gasol for #2 rumour.

I reckon this year's draft could see the biggest number of draft night deals ever completed.

Might be a bit of foxing going on blacky.

Apparently he worked out for the Suns and it was kept a secret by all. Just saw a mock, although it was Dick Vitale's that suggest he could be a Sun at #13.

Everywhere else I've seen has him going to the Pistons.

The New York Knicks are believed to be moving in on a deal to acquire the 30th overall pick from the Chicago Bulls according to sources. The Knicks have told a number of players projected in the early second round that they would and could acquire an additional pick to take them. The problem is this is exactly what the Knicks said last year and did not end up taking any of the players they pledged to draft nor did they follow through on acquiring additional picks. It is worth noting that Bulls sources have said it is unlikely that they use both of their first round picks, the 28th and 30th overall, so the rumors of the Knicks moving on the 30 lines up with what Chicago is saying.

It just begs the question for me which is: Why would the Bulls do the Knicks any favors?
If the Knicks can score 30 and then land a 2nd round pick, which they’ve easily done in the past, then this could be a grand slam night for the Knicks if they fit the right pieces. A player like Andrew Goudelock makes total sense, but don’t discount Chandler Parsons as well.

This would make me very happy

Has worked out recently with the Bobcats as well though it might be a reach to take him at 9. Chris Singleton has also been called back for a second work out. Would be delighted with either of those guys at 19.

Klay Thompson preferred pick at no. 9

Bucks updates:

1) Bogut not going anywhere unless Houston come up with a big deal.

2) Ersan Ilyasova being shopped around... Rockets and Spurs interested.

3) Rockets have offered picks 14 and 23 to Bucks for pick 10 and Ilyasova

4) Bucks eyeing Spurs Tony Parker who is definitely on the table.

5) Bucks willing to trade down from 10 believing their man may still be available at 14-17 range.

6) Corey Magette also believed to be being shopped around in a package deal with pick 10.

Interesting times ahead and quite possibly the most deals ever to be struck on draft night.

Unsure of why he's fallen out of favour. At best he seems a 6'9 version of DH12 and at worst he's Taj Gibson. Would love the Suns to get him.

Tristan Thompson appears to have vaulted up the lottery pick board and is slotted to go at #4.

T'Wolves have rejected the Laker offer of Odom for Pick #2. If Kim Kardashian and not Khloe was included, I would have dealt.

Any talk on S-Jax getting dealt from the Cats dirty?

LO would be devastated if he was dealt to minny. Hollywood is where he needs to be at for his family and reality show.

I JUST WANT SOME MOTHERF****N TRADES ON THIS MOTHERF****N DRAFT
