I can understand it from the point of view that the game is in Dallas and that Kidd feeding others in an all-star game has the potential to be entertaining as a spectacle.

Danilo Gallanari - going to be a star
Jordan Hill - Massive upside and has looked excellent in minimal time given on court.

New York have been ok this year. A couple bad losses but a couple of good wins against quality teams and have also ran a couple excellent teams like the Lakers and Cleveland all the way.

Knicks will be a playoff team next year, i have no doubt whatsoever

That's a pretty ridiculous call when any player on your roster could potentially be traded between now and the deadline, or after the season. You do not have a number 1 guy on your team at the moment, and if only 3 are showing their worth (and are role players anyway), then I don't see how you can say that with any confidence at all. Of course you may add a decent player via FA, but again, who knows?

right now we are 6 games out of the 8 and we have been pretty avg, especially the start of the season was horrible. We probably wont make the playoffs as expected but there have been excellent signs that this team is progressing.
Next year we will end up getting a couple very good players, this will make us a playoff team. Thats not ridiculous at all.

There are a few teams after Tyrus Thomas and Portland looks to be the most likely to get him, but I would love if we could get a deal done to bring him in as he is exactly what we need.
