We've got a council pick up due in our area.

I've spent all afternoon stacking all my rubbish neatly on my front verge only for other people to stop their cars and spread it all over the place looking for treasure.

I've literally just made some prick stack it all neatly again.

I don't mind people going through it.

Parmas aren't even a big thing in Perth and most of them are all pretty average. The best pub food is at those RSLs in Sydney where you get a schooner straight from the freezer and an awesome parma for $18 or something.

Parmas are pretty shit. But they do have them at the Leopold for Friday night footy. About $18(maybe $20,,) with a pint, can't argue with the value. One of the last blue collar pubs around that area. Good feed too.

If you're getting some stiff, rigid bit of crummed nothing with some tomato sauce and shitty cheese melted all over it then it's gross... if the ratio of ham to chicken is more than about 1:5 then I'm out.. but a thick bit of chicken, barely any ham in comparison, a nice crisp salad and you're on. The issue is most joints in Perth seem owned by Woolies and the food is stodgy shit generally. And a lot of the good ones turn their nose up at a parma so you don't get em there.

Parmas are never fine dining, but are ok pub food. The Leo isn't owned by Woolies....Budgie has leased it to Coles! Main thing is that they are not parmis.

They are absolutely a big thing in Perth. They're on every menu for a reason.

I've always said parmi as it just sounds right but I really don't buy into the whole parmi/parma thing. If people want to sound like dickheads and call it a parma that's fine by me.

Went to the Araleun Chilli Festival yesterday. Not as good as years gone by (food and beverage options were quite underwhelming) but there was still some good quality hot sauce/seasonings stands.

Judging from the traffic and parking (blocked part of one lane of the road to create parking spots on it) I can see why it had a stint in Fremantle previously.
