Yep those ones that link EQ to the busport are always out of action.I'm not tall but I instinctively ducked going under that.
Seriously I want a piece of the escalator maintenance contract. The ones leading from EQ to the bus port were out of action for a good 6 months now the ones at EQ station are down. They only went in a decade ago, how much maintenance do they need? There are escalators elsewhere in Perth that have been in for much longer and they seem to work fine.
Obviously after a few weeks of complaints, Transperth have now painted a yellow strip on the concrete to warn people they are about to get their head split open.
I lived in London for 5 years and never saw this at all. Thought they were always reliable.In London, escalators are always out of action; it's more a case of spot the working ones.
