Mine was probably just a bad cold too but it sounds better to say you had the flu, gets you more sympathy from people.

I blame the drug companies, "cold and flu" goes together like apple pie and whipped cream. To be fair, there is a fair amount of overlap in the symptoms.

The cough was the worst for me as well, got over most of the other symptoms after about a week but the cough hung around for another week or so.

I had my annual Winter cold and sore throat about a month ago.

Just spent the week in Yallingup (20 mins south of Dunsborough). Visited all the nearby Breweries and Margaret River. Fair to say I'm in love with that region now, will definitely be back next year.
