I just dont understand why nobody talks about the fact that pet shops are on the road to extinction, just like video stores (pretty sure Blockbuster in morley is the only video store left in perth)? I remember being a kid and seeing local pet shops everywhere. They are now extinct - the only pet stores left now are the big chains like pet city and pet magic.

There are still a number of Civic Video stores.

I am as big a dog lover as you can find but they are still dirty animals. They lick their own arses, eat shit off the floor, roll around in **** knows what. People who let their dogs lick their mouths are ****ed in the head. Dogs get excited and want to lick you but they shouldn't be allowed to lick faces anyway, let alone encouraged.

Because they were getting all their animals from inhumane "farms" and it was finally cracked down on. Now you have to pay $1000 for a dog and make sure you show your friends its breeding history like it's a member of the royal family but with less inbreeding.

If you reply with more then 3 words when someone asks you what breed your dog is, chances are you're a w***er.

It's an important part of dog training to set boundaries. They are pack animals by nature so if you let them do anything they want they won't properly respond to commands. Hate going to people's houses and their dog jumps up onto you when you are on the couch, you tell it to get down and it just keeps doing it. 'Oh that's just Max, ignore him'. Nope that's you not training him how to dog.

For me dogs are allowed in the house but not on beds or furniture. My house/dog, my rules. Each to their own.

Pet shops are ****ed. They also encourage people in shopping centres to buy pets on a whim and these pets often end up in shelters because said people are too ****ed to properly look after them.

It has medicinal purposes and should be legal. Causes less damage than booze. Did you see the story on the news recently about the couple who is going to sell their house because it costs them about 40 grand a year to buy this cannabis product (oil or some sh*t) to treat their son's disability because it's not listed under the PBS (pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme). The gov are the real crooks.

$40k a year, surely it would be worth just growing your own. Don't need an acreage of the stuff but just a plant or two in the backyard.

See you say that the government are crooks, but imagine how much they would make on taxing marijuana. Let alone lowering associated crime etc.
