Part 4 is here:

How so?

There are only a handful of petrol stations offering the lowest price of fuel on a single day every week.
By what, 5c a litre?

Save your time, don't hold up traffic to such a dangerous degree and go home. Those who choose to sit there for over and hour and ruin everyone else's commute to save a couple dollars are way worse than any petrol station

I don't get how people can queue up for so long just to save a few dollars, I don't mind queuing if it's only a 5-10 minute wait but any longer just isn't worth it.

I love when people queue up at the cheap petrol station and then walk out of the shop with a bottle of coke and a bag of lollies. They'd save $2 on the petrol and then overpay $5 on the confectionery.

People are idiots. They'll drive around until the fuel light goes on and then queue up at the cheapest servo knowing they've only got 50km until empty. If you really want to save money on petrol then if you see that a servo is selling it for only $1.30 and you have half a tank then buy it then.

I reckon fluctuations in fuel prices probably cost me about $100 a year. Chasing 5c off per litre is well down the list on things people can do to save money.

Every sunday I'll wake up, grab the dog, fill the car up when its like 3 cents more expensive then it is tomorrow, grab a coffee from vic park, then drive to take my dog for a walk somewhere

I alternate between my personal/work car, I dont even care. How could you humiliate yourself waiting for 10 minutes to save 3/4 dollars? Time is probably better spent at the local shopping center checking if anyones dropped coins on the floor.

Can’t believe another dog has been stolen in Nedlands (William Street).
This time the dog was in the backyard and two guys (one bald) in a white four wheel drive were sitting out the front.
A neighbour questioned their intentions and they responded “waiting on a friend”. In the following ten minutes the dog was stolen.
The owner, Lena Kramer, was on 10 news pleading for the dogs return.

Where I live in the country it's funny because there is 2 main street servos literally right next to each other but they are total opposites in that one is an old school thing where they have an attendant that will either pump the petrol for you, or even clean the windscreen if you are pumping yourself. The other is one of those always only automated ones where you swipe the card. Difference is about 5c but if I had to guess I reckon the first actually does more business.

I had no idea petrol was cheap on Sundays too. You learn something every day.

I fill up when the light comes on. Not a big driver and don't think chasing cheaper petrol prices would make a noticeable difference overall.

I agree people are dumb to queue up for so long to save what amounts to not much, but still something needs to be done. I hate seeing highways backed up for this shit.

What's your coffee go-to in Vic Park? I don't mind the coffee at 868.

They've got a nice weekday special as well - $12.50 for an awesome bacon and egg roll and a large coffee.

Not as cheap as Mondays but not far off, it's most expensive on Tuesdays and then gets progressively cheaper through the week and bottoms out on Mondays.

The way people queue up like crazy on Mondays you would think that petrol was super expensive every other day and Monday was the only cheap day.

Drove past a Caltex on High Rd Riverton yesterday and it was packed with people waiting and spilled onto the street that T-junctioned with High Road.

A bit further down and the BP at Riverton Forum was empty.

Both were the same price before discount.

Fuel and car talk is maybe the most inane of all the talks. It's like the 'family get together where no one has anything in common' chat. Usually instigated by the family tight-arse. 'See the new turn off on Roe Highway? Absolutely insane, dumbest thing I've seen...'

Still open, pretty sure they are shut Mondays.

Spoilt for good options around but The Imp is ridiculously consistent, despite how busy it is cannot ever recall a bad coffee there.
