Wondering if anyone recieved similar. Getting mixed signals on google if it's a scam or not. There was a loan with Macquaire leasing but with all this leaked info these days i'm not really buying it.
Find them online and phone them up via the number on their web site.

I got a similar letter by post today. It says in it "this is not a scam" so I kinda think it might be a scam lol

I got one saying I was eligible for a class action against MLC re superannuation and I would be included unless I opted out, with a link to the Supreme Court filing and opt-out form. It also said if I was uncomfortable clicking the links, to go the court website myself and navigate to Group Proceedings and select the MLC action.

My nephew who lives with me has been paying me $50 a week. I'm thinking of upping it to $100 a week due to cost of living going up as well as him not really doing anything to help me around the place? Shit uncle or fair enough?

150 if he complains

How old is he, does he work and does he buy his own food/meals?
37. He works and buys his own food. He cooks then expects me to clean up the kitchen after him.

37 lol, that's something you'd expect from a 17 yo.

I stay with my sister for a month or so in Perth for work and along with giving some money I do more kitchen cleaning than anyone there else just to make sure that they don't mind you staying there.

Oh rasko you are being taken for a ride! He needs to pay proper rent and clean up or * off

To be honest I probably am a little OCD with my house but at the same time I just don't understand how he thinks this is ok either. This is my kitchen island tonight.

Seriously though why not talk to him about it instead of complaining to random flogs on the internet.
I have and he'll either just ignore me or as I said gaslight me that I'm being too OCD. I don't want it to get to the point where I have to tell him to **** off. I'm estranged from enough family members as it is, including his mum, my sister. But sadly it's heading that way.

Look I'm hardly the most spotless person like you, my place is very rarely perfectly neat everywhere. But I still like things reasonably tidy and clean so someone leaving stuff like out that would give me the shits. Just ignoring you for something that is only common courtesy in you very own home is extremely disrespectful and is taking the piss when you are doing them a favour. Sorry but man up and tell them that they wont be allowed through the front door next time they come back from overseas if they don't pick up after themselves.

I had problems with one of my best mates in share houses that used to be a bit of a shocker but he at least paid his full share of everything and was a good guy that did us a heap of favours otherwise. Even then when I had my own place later on which I allowed to him stay with us I came back from working away and it was messed up I said "I'm going out for an hour, when I come back if it doesn't look the same as it was when I was before I left for Kal a month ago we going to to have a big, big problem". He did and even said is that is that good enough? And I said yep mate and we then grabbed a beer.

I see where you're coming from. I'm not naturally a neat and tidy person - bit of a mess, really. In my house I do all of the food related chores (i.e. the grocery shopping, cleaning out the fridge, kids' lunchboxes, lunch on weekends, collecting takeaway and cooking dinner every night) to make up for my lack of cleaning.

Not everyone has the standard of a totally spotless bench at all times, but they have to pull their weight in other ways. At the very least paying an amount of rent that covers their usage of the utilities and food.

I don't think you're being unreasonable by asking for common areas in the house to be tidied and cleaned. If he can't at least meet that minimum standard then he needs to put his big boy pants on and find somewhere else to live - he is 37, not 17.

Your house, your rules.

"Leave it as you found it" means he cleans all of his own mess.

Or get him a list of local cleaning services that he can pay for :D
