I don't understand why people smoke. Are you able to realise how bad you smell? That alone is a turn off for me to even try it let alone the fact it's bad for you.
There's this new word floating around, addiction I think it might be.

it's where people's bodies or brains get addicted to something and they just can't help but keep doing it.

Sometimes people know what they're doing is not good for them but they just really struggle to stop.

It's a really new premise.

(Sorry probably a bit harsh but this is a massive hate of mine)

Why do Australian made ads for hatchback cars always feature them speeding around in laneways in cities ?
No way you'd be allowed to do the speeds they do in those ads.
How come in some car ads it looks like the wheels are spinning the wrong way?

Haha I know it's an addiction but I'm talking initially. I've never had the incentive to smoke seeing as my Dad and a load of his siblings did and it just always smelt so horrible. That alone was enough not to make me consider it cool to do. Obviously once you start it's hard to stop.

Did some work at a house this morning and they had a white satellite on their roof next to a foxtel dish. Any idea what they are for ?
A whole satellite? That's pretty impressive. Not sure what use it could be whilst not in orbit but whatever it's for I bet they get great reception!

Same. I made a conscious choice to never even try it when I was probably around 12/13 yo. I basically saw my next door neighbour's father drink and smoke himself into an early grave, not to mention I coughed uncontrollably whenever anyone was near me smoking. 1997 World Cup qualifier, recall people all around me smoking, and could barely breathe.

I'm glad no one in my family smoked.

I don't think I could ever stop smoking weed, as Willy Nelson put it, it's a drug that will never betray you. I'd like to knock off the ciggies sooner rather than latter though.

You can punch that exact phrase into google and you'll get a million answers.
If we used google to ask all of our questions GD would be a quiet place.

If you hadve punched in "what is fetch TV" you'd also have gotten the answers to the questions you were asking.

It's nice to have a 'human' response.

What do you mean extract? To where?
Basically I have a really old ipod which I recently changed the battery on only to have it die again so I have decided I want to be done with apple/itunes. itunes renames your mp3s to something that means nothing (ie DXUJGIHTYFDUIG) so you can't just simply copy them elsewhere so I can just have a folder full of mp3s that can be played on anything that isn't apple product.

Ah I see. I know you can drag songs from The ITunes interface and place them in a folder but I'm going to assume that you may not be able to if they are only coming from the IPod and the songs aren't already on the PC. Give that a whirl first but I'm pretty sure there are programs you can get that download the songs off the IPod for you. You might have to download them and crack them though.

Thanks guys. I know there are programs that allow you to do this. I helped someone else do it years ago but I remember it being quite a convoluted process. I was hoping things may have advanced since then and someone here might have had some experience with it and be able to recommend/not recommend a solution.

Yeh I remember there being a program but you had to purchase it but id have thought there'd be better programs available now.

What does it do for you Gough? The weed that is. The few times I've had it I mostly get paranoid that I'm going to OD and panic, which is ridiculous.

Hard to describe, but there are no hangovers like you get from booze, you don't turn into a dick like on coke, or a zombie like heroin, worst thing that happens is you tend to talk shit, and it makes things more fun.
