Yeeeeeeessssssssss but it would need to stay pretty true to the awesomeness that is JA2.

Zombie based media is only valid if the zombies are slow.

Zombies that can sprint and jump etc are stupid and miss the point of zombies as a monster. Not particularly threatening alone, terrifying in large numbers and constantly getting more and more threatening as the movie goes on.

Also, what's the deal with every zombie movie lately being virus based? Is it because people will believe virus but they wont believe supernatural causes? It's silly.

I quite liked Zombieland as well. Shaun of the Dead is also terrific. Comedy seems to be winning when it comes to Zombie stuff lately, although The Walking Dead is pretty great as well, or at least the first half of the first season i've seen so far

28 Days Later wasn't zombies... They were still alive. They were infected with Rage. It's called a zombie movie just because of the genre, not cos it had zombies.

The original Dawn of the Dead is the best zombie movie ever. The ending is brilliant, with old mate going all ninja on the roof.

So today while I was in Rundle Mall I got stopped by an Advertiser journalist. Somehow, despite saying I wasn't a Crows fan, he asked me how I thought they could win tomorrow night. I said something pretty basic and I don't care about my (shocking) photo being in the paper - but if they cast me as a Crows fan I will snap.

EDIT: In terms of zombie films - the original Dawn of the Dead is probably the greatest of all time. For a different style of zombie and general horror film - check out the works of Lucio Fulci (Zombi 2, The Beyond, City of the Living Dead). It's fantastic stuff.

Whilst not technically zombies, [rec] & [rec]2 are the two best zombie/virus type movies of all time.

Horror are a mixed bag for me. I like zombie / supernatural ones, but I'm not a fan of hack and slash / demented person ones (Saw or human centipede).
