Provided they've used up their unlikely win and can kindly lose or draw to Arsenal on Tuesday, I'm very happy they won.

I will be calling them the Gold **** from now on...Healy said my favourite word.
5 stars.

Watching Everton vs West Ham now, the dude with the phat fro is definitely helping Everton's case.Everton. Can't f**kin' stand Spurs.
BTW if ya wanna start following a real club ya need to look further down the leagues.![]()

I also want a team I can watch fairly regularly on Foxtel so lower leagues are out of the question unfortunately.
Don't listen to anything Eddie Dingle says. Nothing wrong with a red hot top 4 club though.Early yesterday morning I was doing some bleary-eyed flicking through the sports channels and stumbled on the FA Cup final. I've never been big on soccer but it was a major final so I watched it anyway and was taken aback by a few things. 1) the sheer passion of the crowd especially the Wigan fans after the win, it was amazing. 2) how entertained I actually was despite it taking 93 minutes for a goal.
So I've decided I'm going to get into the EPL starting next season (inb4 soccerfaglol) and I need a team to support. I'm just indie enough that I didn't want to support one of the big 4/5 but I want a team that has good history, is fairly safe from relegation and may have a sneaky chance of success. So, after extensive research I've narrowed it down to either Tottenham Hotspur or Everton but I can't decide from there.
Are there any Spurs/Everton fans who want to ultimately convince me? If not I'll flip a coin![]()
Yep, I think I'm leaning toward Everton at this stage. I did consider Newcastle actually, their table position puts me off though, I think they can still drop below Wigan and be relegated?Everton sound like they fit the bill for you dude, but they did just lose their manager of a decade to Manchester United, and he was often credited with keeping them as good as they were for so long.
Your other options are Newcastle or Aston Villa, both are pretty big clubs and although both have been in relegation bother this season, they're fairly unlikely to go down.
Plus Villa are the greatest club in the world etc etc
That could take a long time, I think I might give one of these teams a trial run and if another team appeals itself to me along the way so be itI don't think you should force yourself. Let your passion for a side grow as you watch the EPL. Just don't sport stoke, so ******* boring.

I'm the same. I want to get into it but I'm not keen to jump on a Man U or city or arsenal bandwagon. I have a soft spot for Leeds. They still stinking it up in the npower? I remember when they used to be one of those "big" teams. What happened there?
