And rate cuts, whilst providing more liquidity for those who already own property (and in theory some economic stimulus), make it yet still harder for those who don't to get a foothold. Still I guess right now it's about where the Government thinks its votes are going to come from.

Where I live is weird. It's solid Labor territory, yet has some of the highest median incomes in the country - "looks like Toorak, votes like Caulfield" I think is the famous quote. Greens hold the balance of power in the Territory Government, so we're getting a tram to nowhere for a billion dollars we haven't got.

What's the political landscape around PA? Last I was there I did notice a fair bit of gentrification about.

PA is staunch labour, always has been. Kevin Foley's old seat too. There has been some work done around PA but unfortunately none of it has born any real fruit. Shitloads of new apartments but the uptake is slow and the area continues to die. It's such a waste, so many nice old pubs/buildings in the area. Could be so vibrant.

Still a lot of un-gentrified areas in the Port Adelaide electorate. Parts of Semaphore, Largs Bay, Cheltenham, Woodville, Seaton and Findon becoming more gentrified but the there's the likes of Mansfield Park, Ferryden Park and Athol Park in the south and Parafield Gardens, Paralowie and Salisbury North in the north so overall still very much a Labor seat.

I live next door in Hindmarsh which is supposed to be a Labor seat but went to the Liberals at the last election.

Sunderland offered edgie the best contract at the end of my first season with Adelaide United on FIFA.

10k a week, what a deal.

Meanwhile Chad Wingard was snapped up by Barcelona and Schulz ended up at one of those good German teams, BVB or something.

Thus the Adelaide United dynasty of 2015 was ended.

I just want to reaffirm that all soccer is awful but Black Books is excellent.

Black Books is one of those shows you can watch over and over.

Bernard, Manny and Fran are one of the best comedic trios ever created.

Before I became an addict to rewatching Always Sunny, Black Books was my go to comedy to rewatch. Speaking of Always Sunny, I'm watching it second hand on some dudes iPad on the train, without audio obviously. I have peaked.

How did ya'll come to support the EPL teams that you do?
Port Adelaide -> Black and White -> San Antonio Spurs -> Tottenham Hotspur

But like I really care about roundsport.

Couldn't name a player since Robbie Keane left.

I'm sure there's a Simpson meme to cover this

The AirAsia flight that crashed in 2014 flew over 80 flights between Bali and Perth with the rudder fault that eventually cause the crash of the aircraft into the Java sea. Used to love AirAsia but that's unreal I thought they had to be cleared by Australian regulators and technicians to fly here even though the technical work could be done wherever.

If air crash investigation has taught me anything is that airlines will put lives at risk in order to save a buck
