[Piss Poor]

thought it would be good to have a thread about reports/incidents

today we have a couple of incidents that could cause concern with the MRP.

1. Scofield- tripping- think he might get 1 week

2. Lynch- maybe striking- will get off nothing in it

I thought they changed that years ago.

He'll get a reprimand I reckon, his record should be fine.

Lynch will miss at least 2 I would think which is a bad out.

Schofields you'd say is intentional, low impact and body contact, which is level 2 offense and 125 points so if he has a good record it should be a reprimand

Lynchs two are tough, could be graded as anything

The Cox one they mentioned was actually a Lynch elbow. It was an unintentional shepard, but still made high contact. Will be in more trouble for it than the bump IMO.

Would hope Schofield would get off with a reprimand.

Did someone piss Lynch off before the game? Was throwing his weight around all day. Will definitely get done for one of those 2 incidents. How much is anyones guess.

Does anyone think Thornton should get suspended for headbutting? Was a dog act and lucky to not break Natanuis nose.

not sure about the tripping one as I was at the game at the other end of the ground and didn't see a replay.

But I saw the replay of Lynch's incident and he will be lucky to get off. Hip to head with a fair bit of momentum. 1-2 weeks depending on record... He was really good today, so will be missed.

Posted it in the Carlton thread, but I reckon the first one (the elbow) is the bad one.

Made the call to bump, made contact to the head (with a raised elbow).

Reckless, High contact, Medium-low impact.

The second one he might get away with the contact being incidental to the play. Worst case scenario it'll be negligent and not reckless.

Then again it is the tribunal. Maybe just spin a wheel and thats what he'll get.

How do the points work for two incidents from the same game? Does loading work from incident to incident, or game to game?

Game to game surely.

You'd think he'd play with some crazy intensity next weekend too because these next few weeks should make or break his AFL career.

Schofield may get lucky with a good record and an early plea. If not, 1 week and Mithch gets a run if Glass and EMac isn't enough.

Lynch is starting to play unsociable football, he used to pull out of body on body clashes, almost thought he didn't want to hurt anyone. Now he's actually following through with a bump or an elbow to the ribs and trying to put body on body pressure.

May get 1 or 2 weeks, might get lucky.

That attempted head butt on Nick Nat was poor form.
