In my opinion the Power, Blues and Demons games are a must win.
If we go 0 and 3 from the Crows, Pies and Lions games we probably finish 9th.
We win 1 of those 3 then we finish 7th or 8th, 2 of those 3 we have a home final in 1st week but finish outside Top 4, win all 3 Top 4.

It’s a similar situation as last year now. Every game is a must win. So we should be focusing on our current opponent is rather than trying to predict what other teams are doing, or not doing.

Except for Carlton who are being death rided. I have no issue in seeing them bottom 5.

Obviously we need to win the winnable ones. Whenever I do a ladder predictor, I have us losing to Adelaide in Adelaide and Brissie in Brissie, but beating Collingwood. The Pies’ absolute peak this year was their game against us, and I think they’ve come just back off that peak and are gettable. That ensconces us safely in finals.

From there, anything can happen…

I don't want to put too much on Day's shoulders, but if he's back next week we're all of a sudden so much more stable looking. From our absolute best side we're still missing Weddle, but that's it. Time to put the foot down.

However, if we can't upset one of the top 3 we probably don't deserve to play finals. We should see the the run home as an extended final series. Aren’t the dogs really the only team that can push us out of finals? There 2 games behind us but have a good %.

They have 3 winnable games + freo & giants at marvel (both getting into good form). If they win 4/5 and we win 2 we miss finals. We win 3 then highly likely we make it (dogs would have to win all 5).

For what it's worth i had a dream a few days ago that we made the grand final. And Josh Weddle was playing. Reason i know is because i caught the train in with him from Glenferrie Station. Woke up before the game started though dammit.
