Just watched the first half of the Hawthorn St.Kilda game and I think I can safely say St.Kilda are a disgrace!!!
Do they have any sort of system AT ALL!!!
WHO do they look for when they go forward?
WHO do they look for when they kick out?
WHO is going to crash and bash when the skip is being drawn out of the play?
WHO is going to kick goals when 'Chops' is being led up the ground?
DO St.Kilda EVER kick straight down the middle?

Credit to the Hawks, they've played pretty well, but 1 GOAL TO HALF BLOODY TIME?!?!

Maybe Grant Thomas should give up being Presidnet, Chief Exectutive, Football Manager and concentrate on COACHING!!!!!!

I don't barrack for them, I want them to do well, but I'm tearing my hair out watching this!

Does any one out there have any idea HOW they're going to make the eight, or even avoid relegation?!

I think relegation could be the key.

They could probably slot into A grade Amo's.

Afterall Thommo used to coach Old Xavs.

They could play out of Moorabin, re-open the Animal Cage and Saints Disco.

It seems that you would be Chops.

I was refering to Stephen Milne.

Much better 3rd quarter btw. Although Hawks changesd their matchups, took Bateman off Milne, he kicked two quick ones. They opened up their fwd line for Riewoldt to lead into. And they went DIRECT!

Not looking forward to this last quarter though

who cares

Mate

It was the Wizzer cup, so who cares. Wait until four weeks into the real stuff before making comments about performance on the field.

they're playin the dons at optus this week... knowing essendon's pre-season record we might see a win for the sainters! :D

But it was a Wizard Cup that Grant Conman came out and stated the Saints were going after 100%.

st.kilda will never amount to anything when they make Hamill the captain. How long has he been there for again. 2 years. That is a joke.

Speaking of Grant Thomas.
Wouldn't you have thought he would have checked with the AFL before he said he would like to offer Warne a job.
He suffers the same disease as Warne - Can't open his mouth and ask a simple question "AM I ALLOWED TO DO THIS".

They must both have the same "culture" that Grant Thomas seems very keen to preach to his club,

not sure but i think they change there captains around on a 6 month basis so they do have an out clause built in,

What's this?

Morgoth defending the St.Kilda football club? Or did I read wrong?

ha ha

Yeah Fraser, I was waiting for you to pick up on it. I have never critisised your team for this year cos as I said we have not even played a real game yet. All I have done is point out off-field stuff which comes up for discussion.

I remember being in despair after the Pies lost to Carlton last year and yet we made the GF. As far as I am concerned after 4 weeks you can form a view but Wizzer cup pffftttt, who cares (unless we are playing Carlsum).

Just quietly - If I was a saint Kilda fan I would be worried.

Doesn't mean they can't go from strength to strength in the regular season (like collingwood did last year)

Doesn't mean that this year = last year or anything like that

Just means that there were some things to worry about from that game.

I'm not overly concerned at a bad game in the WC. If we lose our first couple of real games I'll worry, but not till then.

I was a little surprised too Morgoth. ;)

No need to hit the panic button yet. When we thumped Melbourne in the first game of the Wizard Cup last year we were going to have a big season and they were wooden spoon candidates.

As we turn up to play on the 29th March at the MCG I'll be happy.

What a great title for a Saints bashing thread!

Look Teddy, first off I acknowledge that the Saints played poorly in that first game. I am willing to cop it on the chin with your accusations of possible relegation and the loudly written questions. This is because my team fared poorly and there just are no excuses that will satisfy you (or your ilk).
But from the way you loudly accuse the Saints of being so awful, one would assume that you come from a position of strength.
How did your team go?

Got space in the trophy cabinet for another?

We'll see how pathetic the Saints are when we meet the "mighty navy blues"

Maybe we should bring in relegation after all...
