So Godzke and youngsaint can call each other nasty names and I get the La Liga thread to myself to post rubbish nobody reads about boring games against Osasuna and Levante. It'll be ace.

Interesting to note is that while the first Classico is the least important in terms of result, it is by far the most important in terms of setting up the rest of the games. Injuries to certain players (i'm looking at you Ramos you filthy ****) will be crucial if they happen, and if another blowout happens then all bets are off.

For what its worth I think the league game will be a draw which will effectively give us the title (Real still have to travel to Sevilla, Valencia, and Villarreal). The CL is perfectly set up with Real at home first, so should be an exciting all-out attacking (or counter-attacking) two legger. The cup is there for the taking by either team, this is the game where Mourninhos experience, and 'specialness' will come into play.

On a side note, i have no predictions of any sort because i find them in this case to be meh and each of the games is up for grabs and will be decided on the night by who doesn't choke in front of goal/does a b23 defensive assignment.

I can see Pepe getting sent off at least once, and more then likely struggle to get out of Catalunya with his kung fu chopping legs. Gosh he is dirty. The sooner someone takes him out, the better. A/c has good sniper skills, no?

Also in other news, b23 is the new promo girl for jenny craig, you can catch a life size cut out at jenny craig fat centres, club x, flinders st station steps or in your sisters cupboard. Be there.

Its fair to say most football rivalries nowadays suffer from the overkill phenomenon.

As pretentious as this sounds I think some of the more anticpated matches/rivalries in club football actually involve my club. Can you imagine West Ham vs Milwall next year if we are to get relegated. Would be beyond epic

West Ham vs Sheffield United would also be nice to see in the near future. Especially if Sean Bean accepts Russel Brands challenge of a pre game boxing match
