It was pretty well known at our club that the 'insurance' covered SFA but they have to have it as a club.I have only ever had medical costs covered when I was playing higher level footy. Local footy they never covered a cent

You can’t imagine why an obscenely rich guy trafficking underage women to a private island for sex with some of the worlds wealthiest and most important people who then managed to commit suicide in a maximum security prison days before he was set to testify might pique the public interest? Not a single part of that might have been a curiousity for people?I ask the same about the Jeffrey Epstein case.

I think we should date people our age"People will actually vote for me."
The gun nuts are all the forced birth enthusiasts as well which makes it even more ridiculous. I remember growing up in the 80s, from Australia America look like it was paved with gold, now it just looks pathetic.America and guns

At the absolute bare minimum there is a morbid curiosity with what is a very sad and sordid tale. Couple that with a bit of human compassion for the victims. Perhaps it you weren’t invested in it but surely you can understand why it was news.If it was someone I grew up watching or had a vested interest in?
Maybe.
To me, the whole Epstein thing is not worth my time.
I have no emotional or vested connection to Epstein so, to me, he's just another guy who's now dead.

3rd world country with a civil war happening as they kill one anotherdefinitely not the 'best country in the world' as they like to claim themselves - not even close. i think a lot of them are realising it the last decade
i thought the same thing but more in the 90's for me, mainly due to sport, but now, I'm glad i don't live over there now
Johnny is suing Amber for defamation because she claimed she was abused. The Depp/Heard thing is probably the highest profile allegations going to court about female on male domestic abuse.

Personally while that is technically what the case is about I feel the whole thing is more of a PR thing for Depp to air his grievances and put all of his evidence of Heard abusing him out there on a public platform (and also putting the donations dirty laundry out there). I doubt he will win the defamation suit but I don't think that was even really his goal here.Johnny is suing Amber for defamation because she claimed she was abused.
I still think most people are missing that this is what the case is about.
I completely agree, I think the fact that most people are saying stuff like “Amber is guilty” represents that he and his team have done a magnificent job of changing the whole narrative of the case.Personally while that is technically what the case is about I feel the whole thing is more of a PR thing for Depp to air his grievances and put all of his evidence of Heard abusing him out there on a public platform (and also putting the donations dirty laundry out there). Yeah, perhaps a controversial fence sitting take on my part but I absolutely believe Depp was violent at times and seems to have lived a 24/7 bender lifestyle, however I also think Heard has massively exaggerated and made it seem like he was pulling WWE moves on her every day. At the end of the day it seems like an out of control addict and a narcissist as a match made in hell.I don't think he's innocent of all the allegations against him but she's not innocent either so it's just a case of him trying to throw more mud back at her than she's throwing at him and then seeing what can stick. As I've said before, regardless of the result neither of them will come out of it looking good.
Innocence or guilt isnt really relevant here.I don't think he's innocent of all the allegations against him but she's not innocent either so it's just a case of him trying to throw more mud back at her than she's throwing at him and then seeing what can stick.
