Part 6 is over there:

A couple of weird but pleasing things about the English language.

The Unwritten Immutable Law of Ablaut Reduplication, which says that when similar words are repeated the vowels will always change in the order i,a,o. For example, hip-hop, ding-dong, chit-chat, riff-raff, tic-tac-toe, mishmash, flip-flop, shilly-shally.

The Royal Order of Adjectives refers to the standard order in which multiple adjectives are placed before a noun. The order is: quantity or number, quality or opinion, size, age, shape, colour, proper adjective (nationality, origin, or religion), material, purpose. For example:

Two small old wooden French tables.
A beautiful young Italian leather jacket.
Five tiny round red balloons.
An enormous ancient gray stone castle.
Several talented old Icelandic Bigfooty posters.

I have Big Footy and Facebook. Am very happy with my choices and couldn't be less interested in any other sites.
The science feed on BlueSky is brilliant for space pics and studies. Social Media can be ok if you're setting filters.

Made a tasty meal from leftovers. Cevapi, boiled potatoes, diluted a cheese sauce with more milk, sautéd broccolini, chilli flakes, black pepper, fish sauce, soy sauce. It was like a cheesy European laksa.
