Knocking off a 1500-2000 word essay, reading back over it and sitting back with a cup of tea in a sense of self satisfaction. Should last until i get the grade.

That's it's already Thursday tomorrow and the weeks seem to go by so quick.
Maybe for you people not in Melbourne. I thought yesterday was Thursday - This public holiday has ****ed me.

Losing my keys on the bus, spending the whole day pissed off about it that I will have to cut new keys, find spares etc etc, not expecting to get it back and then.........................they call back saying they have them. Praise the lord to the good samaritan who handed them in :D
Will have to do a good deed in the future ;)

The satisfaction that comes with diagnosing a problem you have with your body, and then to have it confirmed by a doctor. Makes you feel like a genius :p

I had the exact same situation today with my car!:o

There was some fluid leaking (very slowly) when I went out this morning and after some scientific analysis of the fluid (looked at its colour and smelt it) I went about finding the cause. After about 15 minutes and squeezing my head under the front of the car (didn't have any ramps or jack stands handy) I located the source, figured out what the item in question was and then figured out how to fix it. The plastic plug for the radiator drain had deteriorated and worked itself loose.

Then I basically decided that the extra equipment I'd need and mess I would make to fix it wasn't worth the effort so I took it to my mechanic who confirmed my diagnosis, fixed it and didn't even charge me for the plug. Just half an hour of labour.

Everything went much better than expected :)
