I don't understand the obsession with symbols of masculinity from a bygone era. Beards, fedoras, pipes, pocket watches etc.

Fedoras for me represent deuche-baggery rather than masculinity.

The only reason I have a beard is that I'm too lazy to shave (plus I tend to get razor burn on my chin), and then after a week or so I get used to it and run with it for a couple of months. Rinse and repeat.

In 30 years I am going to bring out my collection of slap bands and hypercolour t-shirts, and I will be the Hugh Hefner of the 2040s.

Most of the time I wear jeans and some kind of button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Occasionally polo shirts, rugby-style tops, that sort of thing.

Fashion doesn't really suit me.
