Gladstone Regional Council
I guess they'll blame the size of the region and low density for the rate levels, which sucks. My city council rates are 2500/yr on a property worth double that (humble brag lol). Will be even less if the next council over succeeds in adding our suburb to theirs.

Ed Helms singing, even though he's not bad at it. His goofy head is good for comedy, nothing else.

Some campaigner keeps trying to remote sign in on my Samsung tv. I've temporarily solved it by turning off the wifi function on the tv itself, but what could they possibly want to do on it ? change the channels on me ? :p
Same things happened to me a few times

News:
Police tried to stop an unregistered car on William Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
However the car drove away, running a red light before stopping in Bourke Street.
The five people who were in the car then fled on foot.
Officers from the Public Order Response Team arrested a 28-year-old man who was identified as an off-duty officer from the North West Metro region.
The senior constable is expected to be charged on summons with drug possession, police said.
A second off-duty officer who had been in the car was also located.

Both have been suspended with full pay.

Suspended with FULL PAY????

Suspended with FULL PAY????
Join a union!

But it is the right way to do it. Stopping pay is a punishment before the case has been determined.

Not that this stops the police when dealing with civilians.

Assuming Guilt is proven, wouldn't the right thing then be for them to Return their Suspension Pay?

Not that that would ever happen

Spreadable butter. Have bought Mainland as a rare treat over the years (don't have butter on sandwiches, but now with Aldi raisin toast... mmm), this time got Devondale instead. Made with Australian Butter!

Read the bottom of the tub last night - 38% butter.

Western Star is almost as bad, doesn't have butter but is a concoction of cream, powders and a minimum of 34% vegetable oil.

GAGF. If I wanted margarine I'd have bought it. Never again. Back to Mainland for me.

Don't buy the extra soft versions - I buy the Devondale dairy soft salt reduced and it's 70% butter, and it's great, spreads easily on everything whether it's bread or toast

Another one is Great Ocean Road butter in a block - I bought a block last week, and this morning decided to use some when cooking mushrooms, it came out of the fridge at a spreadable consistency. As they say of the sea salt one, "Made locally on the Great Ocean Road our Great Ocean Road Butter with Sea Salt has a beautifully rich and creamy texture, perfect for spreading, & cooking with."

Only problem is that it's not easy to find in shops

Is that the TV ad where Patrick Dangerfield has spread his entire body with butter and is surfing?
