When I owe people money, I pay them back.

I'd be willing to say that 90+ % of people I've ever lent money to, or people who have owed me money haven't paid me back, OR I had to remind them of fact.

The pertinent fact is that I learn quickly whether I can depend on that person, or trust them.

Apart from my parents I don't think I've ever borrowed money from someone.

And there a few people who I've lent money to who haven't paid me back.

No. They'll just take it off you at security.

It's really awkward when you leave work and then you see a colleague in the supermarket. I never know what to do. Usually i just give an awkward smile.

I saw an ex colleague from my previous school a few weeks ago. Was a hug and very enthusiastic greeting and a good chat.

Tbh I wouldn't be awkward seeing staff. Much much more awkward seeing students

I love it when students see me outside of school. The look of shock on their face. "You have a life outside of school?".

I've told this story before I'm pretty sure.

We had a student teacher when I was in Grade 10 who was very young, very hot (to 14/15yo boys anyway) and dressed completely inappropriately for the workplace (full makeup, revealing clothes). The whole class were WAY better behaved and did more work for her than the actual teacher that term. When she left we lobbied the school to employ her in place of our actual teacher.

After graduation (High School only went to Gr.10 back then), we had gone to a particular nightclub in town that was known to be very lax (non-existent) at checking ID at the door (30 years ago, times were different). It was very popular with the college crowd (free entry before 8pm, $1 beer, $2 spirits), and as very green underage kids we'd gone (stone cold sober) to check it out for the first time. (It was Dark, LOUD, and everyone else knew how to dance...we were even more awkward than normal).

After finally drumming up the courage to order a drink (followed quickly by a few more) we'd had a good night and were heading out for food. It was early - probably 10pm or so. By now there were bouncers and a door girl at entry, and a long line to get in. Who did we see in the line but Miss "Smith" lined up to get in. She just looked 'normal' - wearing the same outfit to the nightclub as she wore at school, but it didn't seem out of place here.

The group were too scared to go and talk to her, but I went over and said hi - we chatted a bit - (I don't think I was trying to hook up but had so little game it wouldn't have mattered!) - I gave her a light and we shared a cigarette while she was waiting. I then ruined any chance I may or may not have had by calling over the group - once she saw us together she realised who we were, stubbed out the cigarette and told us she really couldn't be seen with us.

Saw her out a few more times that year, but she never acknowledged us, not even a smile or wave.

A year 11 student totally hit on me once. Attempted several times to add me to his FB (eventually blocked him) then hit on me at the school carnival day later in the year.

We had some attractive teachers when I was at school. Particularly male PE staff.

One time we were sitting near them for Geelong v Essendon. 1995.

Me and a couple of mates ended up in Lambys one night. Also in there were our kids' teachers having a girls night out. They were a bit stand offish at first. A few drinks later we were all on the dance floor together taking selfies and whatnot. Nothing untoward happened but there were a few red faces at the next parent teacher meetings.

I saw a kid I tutored at the Metro one night, I was completely off my face ha ha, think he said I was a good teacher, not sure.
