Seriously? I always assumed everyone saved the crusts until the very end.
In my house, that's "Dad's treat" - the last (stale) slice toasted and placed between the two crusts in a double-decker toastie with cheese and whatever random meat is about to walk out of the fridge.

It's probably the opposite of this thread but does anyone use the all the knobs and buttons on their microwave, washing machine and dishwasher? I just press the power then start buttons.

Washing machine is either 46m or 26m programs and how much water I think I need
Microwave as above and dishwasher I just tell them they wont do them because they are lazy

My washing machine jiggles the clothes around for a while before working out how much water to put in. I don't know how long it goes for but it plays a tune when it's finished.
I just checked it. The knob has 11 settings. I just leave it on the top one that says Cotton. I don't push the buttons that say Aqua wash, Power wash, Delay end, Extra rinse. It seems to do the job.
Took my son to Timezone when it opened yesterday at 9am. I've usually taken him during the day, there's kids parties on and people everywhere, always painful. Yesterday no one around, we had the run of machines, this is the only time I'm taking him in future.

Our washing machine is a knob too
He mainly plays the skill testers and stuff, though I join in on the throwing machines. There's one where you throw at a target and get points for accuracy and speed, lot of fun winding up on that.

whenever I buy anything, I'm in a constant state between wanting to be brand loyal if I enjoy the brand or specifically avoiding the brand in order to try them all. This applies to anything I have a major interest in (cars, electronics, shoes)

Few people know this of me, but when I left my first high school (it was closing down) on the last days most of the other students were at their new schools while I wasn't and I cannot remember the reason. Anyway on the very last day, as I was leaving the school for the last time, I turned around saying goodbye but I was still walking, so as I turned back around.. I walked face first into a metal pole. I dunno how many people have done that on their last day of school.
