Wife bought it and got one of our mates to put it in (so it cost more than 1200 actually). I casually asked how much it was and said “what the ****?”

I dont get letters delivered just parcels so no letter box, you have to go to the post office to get letters
A friend has a chest freezer as his parcel" letter box" so his parcels dont get pinched or wet

If it's any consolation my mrs wants a letterbox incorporated into our retaining wall, (we are already paying circa $3500 for the wall), but we already have a letterbox but it "doesn't match our house", so the wall needs to be extended, and the letterbox built into it, which will add a bit more to the cost lol. Damn women!

Its ****ed isn’t it? You really do need to pick your battles though, happy wife a d happy life and all of that

One of the only times I put my foot down was the wedding, was like 2k for the photos, which is ok I guess. But they wanted an extra 3k to film the ceremony and reception!

I said **** that and my cousin filmed it all on a mini video camera for nothing and we’ve never watched it anyway.
