This was back in the 70’s on the farm where I grew up , probably did on old tractors and trucks and cars to some extent.
Modern vehicles with efficient alternators and quality batteries don’t need it .
Might have also had something to do with injecting fuel into the carby ready for start the next day ?

I hardly ever have butter. Vegemite gets butter. Peanut butter on toast does as well. That’s pretty much it.

After locking the car i always go back to double check after some metres taken walking away. Even though I could press the lock button I still visually check.

Same with the garage door at night.

I do this but also look in the window to make sure the handbrake is up.

I drive a manual and am paranoid about it rolling away.

Watching older people go for it is tough. They get that awkward limp/shuffle gait going and you fear for their safety.
Distracted idiots (iPhones etc) always good to watch them shit themselves with an angry beep.

I like butter on a Banh Mi as there's plenty of other flavours going on. But I agree, on a cold sandwich it can be a bit much. When it melts is a different story - such as on a bacon butty or hot crumpets.

Mix my ocean spray cranberry juice with apple juice to make cran-apple juice (because for some reason ocean spray wont sell their own cran-apple juice in this country but sell other mixes).

I used to live off the A4 just up the road from where the titles scenes to The Office where shot and frequently you'd find yourself walking next to it and moving faster than the traffic.

I'm generally happy to drink either cold or hot coffee, doesn't really bother me. Sometimes I'll make a coffee the night before and leave it in the fridge, saves time having to make one in the morning.
