will he play FF or FB??

I think having a decent sized man, who is fking fast as FB isnt the worst idea.
Think about it, he would have the best closing speed in the league.... You would think his opponents wouldn't mark a ball on the lead ever.

Box Hill Hawks Princes Park (Visy Park) Sunday 10th according to SportingPulse, are we on TV.

Just checked no Sunday VFL on TV. Next week we have the bye but the following week its the Bullants on Saturday so hopefully on the box.
mothers day:(

i dont think mum would be overly impressed if i nicked off to princess park, she was adament i wouldnt work lol

Until his opponent decided to change direction anyway.

It will have to be FF.

Rus at FB IS the worst idea.

He needs to play in the position he looks most threatening and that is leading from the goalsquare or perhaps anywhere inside the 50m arc.

Nathan Brown is our next FB after Presti anyway and Reid is being groomed to play CHB.

Going to be an exciting game.

I'll definitely make the trip down to Visy Park if he is named.

A caller rang in and put the question to Ed.

That was Ed's reply.

Ed may be alot of things but a liar he is not. (fingers crossed)

Rusling has not been named in the VFL side this week.. according to my copy of The Age.

Maybe Eddie should refrain from commenting on team selections?

Rusling was meant to be at the club night dinner last night but he didnt show up.

then someone asked where he was and the players looked all sketchy at each other, like they knew but werent allowed to say. they then said he is probably at home on the couch, before declaring he is 2 weeks away

Ge whats the big deal if the supporters know accuarate info on player injuries?

Especially ones who will be returning through the VFL.:thumbsd:

I'm telling you all Rusling is our version of Shane Watson in the Aust cricket team. All this hype about how good he is and how he will make the difference but get him into the side and he AWLAYS gets injured. Sorry but you can't keep playing someone like that, Jack is proving he is the perfect 3rd option, doesn't get a lot of the ball but when he does it's a goal. Why do we need Rusling, trade him to the Bulldors or the gold coast and suck them in.

Is JMac named?

NO.:(

I'm guessing J-Mac actually tore his hammy in the first VFL game, so they will give him till next week to recover.

At least Collingwood seem to be doing the right thing here, not rushing back the 2 young players, one more week and they will both be right to go.

Next weeks VFL game at Coburg might be worth watching just for the return of these 2 bright stars.:thumbsu:

I get the feeling we are being far more conservative with injury management this year, giving players much more time to ensure they are 100% right

They might miss next week also cause the following week is a bye:( giving them an even longer stretch to recover.
