It is not exactly a sport, rather a hobby.

I mean there are world championships, professionals who skate for a living, its participated in more countries than many other "sports", it requires skill, fitness, courage, determination.

What marker is it missing to be considered a real sport?
 
It will evolve into 'safe runs' etc

Bradbury moments might happen but they will be less and less

Might get a few competitive skaters, but for the majority they won't compete in any competitions... Doubt too much tactics are going into this, O'Neill will be definitely trying to land the last trick tonight

More most professionals don't enter competitions, it's more gatekeeping... I don't want it to become to professionalism like other sports

We just do it to have fun
