He had zero influence on the game. He didn't test the Geelong defence and had zero impact in the ruck. Most of his disposals were ineffective but he did kick well after been gifted a few shots from the umpires.

The one thing the Dogs cried out for all game was a strong marking forward. At the very least someone to crash packs. Boyd couldn't provide that.

Hahaha did you watch the game tonight? What would you consider making it? If he can be a 30 goal a year ruck/forward then he will be a permanent fixture in our team for many years. He looked like hes already that player but with massive ceiling and scope for improvement.

His ruck work is really average though not sure if Beveridge is going to persist with that. But signs up forward were a lot better than they normally were.

Still a long way to go but good on him. Stuck it up some critics including myself.

Nothing screams out a Million dollar forward though. If he plays like he did today he could become a very overpriced David Hale.

i thought this was one of his worse nights in the ruck. i rate him in there, but tonight was beaten by possibly the longest ruck in the comp in Smith. Couldn't get a hand near it in the centre.

Luckily the rest of his game tonight was very good

Competed well, took a couple of strong grabs, for once was paid a few chopping of the arms.

Any other 20 year old kicking 3 wit 18 touches would be praised. But need to keep trolling boyd because he's boyd and no matter what we need to keep talking about his money.
