Yeah I think a few of us were but I think the MC saw a few things that would get us over the line rest of the year in Ceglar outperforming expectations, and seeing some options with SDK, Blitz, Hawkins and Sav able to take chop outs. We've even used Jack Henry there but I Woodbridge recommend it.Surprised you folk did not pick up Crayfish (Naismith) in the MSD. Would have been a good fit at the Litter Box and given your mids good service. Was also a wonderful clubman at the Bloods.
I reckon TDKs management has done him no favours.
Who is sure though? You? Doesn't sound like everyone is so sureHe's definitely not worth anything close to Luke Jackson.
But based on market demand for his services we'll get a first round pick for sure. Probably only worth an early to mid second round pick though.
Everyone being opposition supporters with an agenda to create a narrative that lowers his value?Who is sure though? You? Doesn't sound like everyone is so sure

Market demand for ruckmen suggests they're either a token pick or they're elite. TDK ain't eliteEveryone being opposition supporters with an agenda to create a narrative that lowers his value?
You could say the same going the other way, I/carlton supporters want us to get more than what he's worth e.g a first round pick. But based on market demand and limited supply (there's only 1 out of out of contract ruckman he's age with his potential on the market and 3 clubs so far mentioned interested), we'll get more than what he's worth if he leaves.
Prefer Kieren Briggs after watching him play for GWS today.
Never seen TDK do anything approaching remotely that level.
What market demand? He's definitely not worth anything close to Luke Jackson.

The market demand that Kane Cornes invented for clicksWhat market demand?
You’re going to be disappointed when SOS offers him overs then.

Planet Stupidity.I am starting to think some people have TDK confused with his brother.
On what planet is this guy worth anything like the contract or draft capital that is being spoken about?
Given that we basically have no one between 25-29 we needed to roll the dice on a mid in that age range. Hopefully boner is another Menegola for us.
Would suit blues too given their dysfunctional mids.
Papley for a 1st round and TDK is about right.Sydney have by far the biggest deal on the table and I’m sure they finish below the Cats as far as PSD goes. Rumblings Papley wants to come home again. Assuming we finish lower TDK + our first for Papley and your first. Which is unbalanced in my view towards us and we need points in the next 2 drafts after this for Campo x 2 and then Walker. Tough decisions coming up.
Naismith is a dud. Glad we passedSurprised you folk did not pick up Crayfish (Naismith) in the MSD. Would have been a good fit at the Litter Box and given your mids good service. Was also a wonderful clubman at the Bloods.

Geelong for a future 2nd will get it done. Not to sure myself - looks a bust to me and will soak up salary.
I doubt Geelongs list managers will be throwing all their eggs into the basket of an untried ruckman. We already have our future ruck (Conway) who is slowly being managed and won't be risked until his body is 100% right to go.
De Koning would be a solid 2nd ruck but you wouldn't want to give up a first rounder for him.
The club is confident they have a long term player on their hands.I doubt Geelongs list managers will be throwing all their eggs into the basket of an untried ruckman.
DoKoning definitely makes sense, but any club would be silly to give up a first for him.
Sure but I honestly have a lot of trouble believing that number. If Sydney's offer of 750k is legit that's late first round territory at the trade table. Some posters on our board said Club's after a top 15 pick for him. I don't see why teams would be offering that much but they are and he's in that high demand then a future 2nd certainly wouldn't be getting close to it.
You're after a top 15 pick but dropped him to the VFL. Strange. If Sydney's offer of 750k is legit that's late first round territory at the trade table. Behavioural. When you're found getting pissed with and opposition team fresh off a concussion I reckon most teams would do similar. You're after a top 15 pick but dropped him to the VFL. Strange.
Didn’t he receive the concussion while playing VFL? If so that doesn’t make a lot of sense.Behavioural. When you're found getting pissed with and opposition team fresh off a concussion I reckon most teams would do similar.
