I've never seen a guy fight for every possession and every metre like prime-Mitchell since prime Crawford. Not the most skillful player but will leave it all on the field. He doesn't have that same ability in him after his leg-break but he still has that desire.

Unfortunate that we never had much to put around him in the midfield after the first year or two when he got his brownlow, even then he was copping flak from some idiots but when you watch him every week you will realise he's an unselfish hard worker, not the ineffectual possie merchant he's sometimes billed as. Will root for him to do a Luke Ball at Collingwood.
