SOS and his wife.
Outside court, Stephen Silvagni said his son maintained his innocence and the family was exploring its appeal options.
“Jo and I, together with our family members and friends, are so disappointed with the outcome. We all love and support our son,” Stephen Silvagni said.
“Our son continues to maintain his innocence, and we stand firmly behind him.
“We will be considering our options to appeal and shall not be making any further comments on this case. Our goal is to clear his name and bring him home.”
I think the police recorded it - so presumably they would have had the appropriate paperwork filedIsn't it illegal for calls to be recorded without the knowledge/consent of the party being recorded?
If it is illegal, then it could not have been admissible as evidence, and could be grounds for the Silvangi's to sue.
Why does anyone need to find it satisfactory? It changes nothing. You found his statement today satisfactory?

and that he (and his wife) stand behind their son in his maintaining of innocence. He didn't say anything about the victim, only that his son maintains his innocence.
Most decent parents would do the same.and that he (and his wife) stand behind their son in his maintaining of innocence.
In other words, "We believe our son over the victim and the findings of the court"
Why does anyone need to find it satisfactory? It changes nothing.
It's admirable that he would stand by his son. I find it weird that some parents would seek to distance themselves in a situation like this.
Most decent parents would do the same.
Wasn't it reported that SOS was involved in producing, or at least aware of, the fake uber receipt, to help get him off? If that's true, I could see why the Saints wouldn't want to retain himWhy? Since when have we punished parents for their adult childrens problems?
Has nothing to do with St Kilda.
Are you unable to grasp the position they're in? He's telling them he didn't do it (or whatever he's saying), and they're believing their son. It's admirable that they would, despite the findings of the court, effectively declare their son hadn't done anything wrong?
You can support your children through their idiotic, criminal, reprehensible decisions without...you know...denying their sexual crimes.
Oh, I hadn't read that. Read that the uber receipt was forged, but not who was involved. Where was that reported? (not doubting, just interested)Wasn't it reported that SOS was involved in producing, or at least aware of, the fake uber receipt, to help get him off? If that's true, I could see why the Saints wouldn't want to retain him
Haven't heard of that, but if true, I agree with youWasn't it reported that SOS was involved in producing, or at least aware of, the fake uber receipt, to help get him off? If that's true, I could see why the Saints wouldn't want to retain him
fair enough if that's the caseI think the police recorded it - so presumably they would have had the appropriate paperwork filed

Wow if this true then see you later sos..Wasn't it reported that SOS was involved in producing, or at least aware of, the fake uber receipt, to help get him off? If that's true, I could see why the Saints wouldn't want to retain him
Imagine you have a 19 year old daughter who has been drafted to play AFLW for St Kilda. The club's list manager, one of their most senior figureheads is publicly gaslighting and trying to discredit a rape victim. That doesn't exactly paint a picture of a workplace environment where your daughter will be safe and respected.Nobody is sticking up for Tom, but most (sane) people can see that this isn't a club issue, nor is his father wrong for standing by his son.
Are you unable to grasp the position they're in? He's telling them he didn't do it (or whatever he's saying), and they're believing their son.
That doesn't mean there wasn't a guilty verdict. It doesn't mean that it didn't happen. They're believing their son, which is what most parents would do. Clearly, you don't have children.
Regardless of that he sucks as a list manager. His salary dumps were laughableImagine you have a 19 year old daughter who has been drafted to play AFLW for St Kilda. He's not gaslighting, nor is he trying to discredit anyone. All he's said is that his son maintains his innocence, and they'll keep fighting.Imagine you have a 19 year old daughter who has been drafted to play AFLW for St Kilda. For sure ...or taking young girl recruits to NT and getting pissed and performing lap dances.Imagine you have a 19 year old daughter who has been drafted to play AFLW for St Kilda. If true I imagine SOS himself would have a case to answer, so I highly doubt this is what occured.Wasn't it reported that SOS was involved in producing, or at least aware of, the fake uber receipt, to help get him off? If that's true, I could see why the Saints wouldn't want to retain him

Collingwood terminated that person's employment. If St Kilda had any form of integrity they'd tap SOS on the shoulder and suggest he step down for the good of the club.or taking young girl recruits to NT and getting pissed and performing lap dances.
If that’s the case then I hope they jail him- that is corruption 101, no wonder his son is a rapist.Wow if this true then see you later sos..
