We are now in the top 8 and a decent percentage of just over 100 considering we have lost more than we have won. It looks like the top 6 are definite finalists, therefore leaves the bottom 10 to fight out 2 finals spots, and its not hard to eliminate certain clubs from the race (eg. hawks and dogs).

Maybe we might just sneak into the 8, who knows, I really think next week will decide the course of our season, if we win and go to 4-4, we are a big chance for the finals. However, if we lose I think we can say goodbye to the finals.... have to win majority of our games at kardina.

i reckon we're a great chance.

sit down with the fixture and see how many games you think we could end up winning.

but yes i agree with you that next week against the dees will be telling

next 3 weeks (melbourne, essendon and port) very important. need at least one of those and all look final 8 teams at the moment.

then
WB - win
Roos - win
Bris - loss
WCE - 50/50 (at subi)
Coll - win
Swans - win
Blues - win
STK - loss
Rich - win
Freo - 50/50 (maybe at KP)
Crows - 50/50 (at AAMi)
Hawks - win

that's 7- 2 and 3 50/50 games

so could get 11 and one of the 50/50 games and that would be enough. With King and s johnson to come back in the next couple of weeks and ablett getting fitter, it looks possible.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves and just take it one week at a time, theres only one thing to a bubble if it gets bigger.

we have had 3 wins over 3 sides that are competing for the bottom 4.The next 3 weeks , as Steve has said, is the test. Beat all 3 and we are better then I think, Beat 2 and we can start talking a bit! .Beat one and we are inline for another tread water season and beat none and we will be considered pretenders by all.
We are close to having a full list so the next 3 weeks with Dees at home, We should win.
Ess at the Dome 50/50,
Port has a fair list of outs so they should be beat able, if we are good enough.

I'd take 1 win out of the next 3.... we have to beat Melbourne. Essendon and Port are fighting for top4 places, and I am not expecting to win either of those games especially at their home grounds. If we beat melb and are competitve against the other two (like syd and freo) then i'll be extremely happy.
