Could say Mayne's 2013 season was just as good, if not better for his role:

Dickson's 2015 - 50 goals, 8 goal assists, 71 marks (5 contested, 28 inside 50), 72 tackles

Mayne's 2013 - 37 goals, 24 goal assists, 141 marks (34 contested, 35 inside 50), 110 tackles

Mayne involved just as many goals (58 vs. 61), taking just about double the marks (and a heap more contested), and well as laying a lot more tackles.

Mayne is probably under-rated by your average football punter as we tend to focus only on offensive prowess when really offence, defence and transition are equally important as each other. I'd say they are about equal but Mayne's 2013 where he was in the AA squad was amazing.
