I saw some glimpses in Roarke’s games this year, happy for him to get an opportunity to prove himself.

With a pre season and a bit of luck with injuries could be a valuable new recruit.

Think Roarke deserves another year before we cast him off into the wilderness.... another big pre-season who knows. Cheap versatile depth if nothing else.

Good list. My top 5 (no order) would be Hawkins, Cameron, Gilbee, Ian Williams and Bob Murphy.

Going back a little , but one of the very best was Gordon Casey.

As most of you could tell - I’m a huge Smith fan. Think he’ll be best 22 in the future. Stoked the club is backing him in.

I’m also a big fan of Smith. Just needs some continuity and confidence in his body and I’m bullish on a long AFL career.
I think he’s a better player than Wood was after his first couple of seasons. Wood also had long patches out through injury early on so plenty to like about a bloke who can run, jump and is a decent kick.

Clubs needing kpd's will pay a lot for May, who is a quality defender. Where our list is at, I can't see us being serious players in that market.

Not sure where Roarke fits in to a best 22; he's small and not quick. Has he got the necessary qualities for further development or is he depth only?

Missed a lot of footy. Like the article says still has improvement in him. Took Wood a while to find his feet with injuries hamstrings not knees. Both athletic sometimes take those types longer.

Where did this Jake LLoyd to Gold Coast thing come from? I've seen it posted a few times but can't understand the reasoning behind it.
