this is practically dawes first season with a proper pre season and people are thinking he wont come on, just because of the fact he cant get much supply from a vfl side getting a caining every week.
too early to lose faith in the kid yet

It's official, I think I've now seen every possible misspelling of Sam Iles' name.we have some players on the list that have come to a point do they stay or do they go
Chris Egan
Brodie Holland
Ryan Lonie
Simon Prestigiacomo
Ryan Cook
Sam Lies
Daniel Stanley
where would any of the above be next year ??
How exactly has he done that? Nathan won the Rising Star nom last week, what has Mitch done since tearing his ACL in the pre-season?Well to put it in perspective. What would Collingwood want from West Coast in return for Nathan Brown ? Think about Nathan's value to Collingwood, add something because Mitch has, thus far, done more than his twin (even though he has had an injury setback) and whatever the answer is should be Collingwoods starting offer for any negotiations with the Eagles. Of course I expect Magpies fans to be realistic about this. So what would YOU expect the Eagles to give you for Nathan Brown ?![]()
I think this was more a typo than being misspelled thoughIt's official, I think I've now seen every possible misspelling of Sam Iles' name.

The only way this trade will happen is:
Wellingham for M. Brown
So no thanks
END OF F@#K'n STORY
what about
eagles first pick + m brown
for
didak?

Cant believe the names and deals that you guys reckon would get the trade done.
The trades are so lowly it begs the question that if you think Mitch is worth so little why would you bother trading for him.
Paraphrase "Our Brown is a future star, the Eagles Brown is a nothing , ok give them a third round pick and Toovey for him, the would have to be happy with that'
Shakes his head in wonder !!!!!!
.I wouldn't trade Didak, not even for Brown and their first round.
Didak is probably our best player, and i believe he will only get better over the next year or two.
Yeah... but he's a former first round pick (#16 no less) who's had a serious knee injury. So's Chris Egan. Where do you see his value? If Mitch wants to go back home, he will be at any Victorian club other than Pies. I can't see us dealing with the Pies and can't see us accepting us anything but a first-round draft pick (he was a first-round draft pick).

He would certainly carry some cache, don't get me wrong, but your rationale for determining his trade value is flawed.
.Yeah, you are right about determining his trade value, Royal Sampler.
My rationale is based entirely on factors that have nothing to with Mitch, if that makes any sense.
The rationale is
a) We would not been keen on dealing with Collingwood because of past history with Mick and the fact you guys are a top 4 side.
b) The Medhurst situation, us not wanting to let go of a player that ends up being a star at another club
c) The Judd situation, we not wanting to lose out of a trade.
d) How good Nathan is and the potential of Mitch e.g. the fact he is a key position player.
I could be completely wrong and understand that Mitch might want to play with his brother. I just think that West Coast might play 'hard ball' in trade talks, you have to take into account where we sit on the ladder and what we have gone through in the last 18 months
Guys.
Mitch is definitely wanting to come home. That is fact. (Home sick in a big way)
Not sure where he will end up, but he will definitely be playing for a victorian club once his contract expires.
His preferred club is Collingwood. He wants to play with his brother and our facilities are just a couple of the reasons.
Lets just wait and see!
Neon Leon and Dale Thomas for Mitch Brown... just to give you some idea of what it's like to read the rubbish you blokes have been serving up.
Re: Didak for Brown+first pick
well considering that our pick will likely be at 3, 4 or 5, you are on some serious crack. Didak may be very good but worth mitch brown and pick 3, 4 or 5 in a very strong draft with a particularly strong top 5, is ludicrus. Didak isnt exactly what we would want in the sense of our "new breed" image. Mitch brown will be a GUN. We will develop him as a gorilla FF and then move lynch out to a flank or wing which suits him alot more. COuld also slot in well at CHB, but with wilkes, schofield, spangher, mackenzie coming through, i doubt that will be his direction. Collingwood have not much we would want that you would be willing to trade. No to dick, would prefer to go for gartlett or yarran in the draft, no to rusling, too injury prone too one dimensional, don't know much about reid, but more CHF's is counter productive. Cox and egan are big no-no's. Other teams would offer more than collingwood, so i doubt any deal could be done.
yes, other clubs will offer what he is worth, but collingwood will not. You have nothing we want short of thomas, pendlbury and brown which you would not consider giving up. Collingwood will try and offer egan plus a 3rd rounder or some rubbish but other clubs will offer far more reasonable demands, as they will have more to offer us. Do you think we care how big a club you are? i would like to point out that you are not the biggest sporting organisation in the southern hemisphere by the way, Flamengo have 40 million supporters and have revenue in the double digits of millions. Alot of other brazillian clubs are bigger than you aswell, and we have alot more revenue per year than you. But back to the topic. We want GOOD midfielders, crumbers and a FF. You simply will not offer that.
Get a grip dreamer, other teams will offer what they believe he is worth.
You should have said West-Coke will want to deal with other clubs because they don,t want to deal with the biggest Sporting organisation in the Southern Hemisphere.
