Agree. We are hardly the club that has the luxury of picking who and for what we off-load players.

No doubt there will be some who want out or look for greener pastures again this year and we will have to decide if we want to pay over the odds to keep them.

As for wanting to trade Rich - FFS. The stupidity never ceases to amaze.

Why don't we trade Rich for a first rounder. Let the first rounder mature for 2 years and than trade him on for a first rounder. Let that first rounder mature for a couple of years and than trade him on.

We KNOW what we have in Rich, we certainly dont know about the others, only reputations/sayso's and HOPE that they will be as good as Rich...

Most annoying thing of this time of year is how a few posters decide they are now recruitment experts despite the fact that they are just passing off whatever recycled material they read on the draft board as their own insights.

The guys with real insight aren't hard to spot. No offence, but if a post doesn't have Quigley, Irel or Offsider's name on it, I just naturally tune it out as background noise. If I want groupthink, I'll go directly to the source, cut out the middleman and go straight to the Drafts and Trading board.

From a drafting point of view I agree 100%. Although I do find it interesting to see what the good folk out there come up with as too who might be a good trade target to fill the holes we have. Not so much on what personnel we would give up though (poor Sherman is coping the brunt this year) or the 10 way trade scenarios.

You guys have been pretty tough at the table and generally come out on top...not a bad thing from your perspective. I like that attitude. Last year your are right though... definitely didn't have the stuff you attitude. Maybe we should do another trade.
