Hi all,

Sorry to intrude on your board but I have a question on behalf of my partner who is a mad Pies supporter but a non-BF'er.

The Collingwood website states the team will resume training tomorrow (January 4) but offers no information as to whether it's an open session and if so, what time the session will be.

Anybody got any info regarding tomorrow? My partner is very keen to head along if there's training and I might tag along too because I am very desperate for footy at the moment :thumbsu:

it would start around 9:00am - I think

It's so nice to see the gay community embracing footy.

That's bit Uncalled for Post Didaka

Note the :p at the end of the post.

It's actually funny. When I used to play we had a new coach join the side, and I was having a chat to him, and he kept going on about his partner, and I thought, wow our footy coach is gay and thought it for quite a while. Little did I know he was talking about his business partner. They were brickies.

Well still have to be Careful because people can take it the Wrong Way

That's their choice.

I don't really care if they are gay or not but I just think can take things the Wrong Way

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm never serious.

I was of course serious this one time when I got my winky caught in my jeans zipper. It took minutes of careful thinking.

It left zipper marks on my weiny schnitzen.:o

Awkward....

La, La, La.:o:o:o

Anyway, back on topic a bit.

Anyone who may want to go to training tomorrow, my 2 suggestions are to either ring the club or email them, and hope for a response on this matter.

If we are training tomorrow, the start time will be between 9am and 10.30am, but I can't be more specific because as stated the CFC website is not advertising the time at the moment.

Keep an eye out on the website, they have a habbit of putting the time up very late, sometimes even only an hour before training starts.

That is terrible for people like me who live about a hour from Training I won't know until the Morning of the Training session and would be to late to go then

The playing list is currently on a break and will resume training on January 4, 2010.

Edit: I just sent an email out to the club asking for an approximate time for tomorrow's session, will post the response in here if I get one.

Re the earlier comments about gays, I have to say that I'm a little surprised because I'd assumed that most of you would know far more about footy than I do, since I've only been following it since about 1992. BUT: there is, or at least was once, an unofficial gay group that called themselves the Pink Magpies and I am told that they even had a cheer squad that used to go to games. In case you're wondering, I'm a counsellor and I get told all kinds of things, and this was from a gay client who had been a member. And, just for the record, he was friendly with a lot of other gays who followed other clubs.

Harry O'Brien is still in a bar in Sydney tonight (according to Facebook) so I think it must be the 6th.
