I just tried to multi Mbappe staying into Neymar stating. SB don't allow it for some reason.

Because it's akin to a same game multi bet. Player A moving/staying might make it more likely that Player B moves/stays etc. I.e. Costa to leave Chelsea x Morata to leave Madrid is closely related.

They're making money from eventual sales years down the track from their loanee investments, plain and simple.

Basically the same deal as what the Italians who run Udinese/Watford/Granada do, but the Italians need profits to help keep their clubs sustainable, but some of the players they own get shipped around between the 3 clubs also based on their skill level/adaptability etc. Matej Vydra and Marco Faraoni played for Udinese and Watford, these two were highly rated 5-6 years ago, but they didn't come on (dunno what they're doing now). Nyom and Ighalo both played together at Granada and later on at Watford also, that move for the two African players going from La Liga to the EPL has worked better for Watford.

I asked the question before on Chelsea about 2 years ago here as to why they do it as it's unethical imo, but there could be something up their sleeve eventually by doing it, it potentially is helping their net spend down and maybe it was a way to get around FFP also? Who knows.

That would literally be the only reason they use the loan system like they do.

It's getting a chance on the best kids in the world before their value hits the roof imo.

Every now and then one will make it, and that makes it worthwhile. For those that don't a lot will still make money cause they were bought young, have a lot of ability, and have had the benefit of an excellent football education.

FWIW I don't see it as unethical. No-one is forcing the kids to join, they are getting a good education and many of them will go on to have excellent careers.

If I was advising one of these kids I'd keep a keen eye on their career path though. A lot seem to stagnate in that environment, and I wouldnt be hanging around too long just hoping for an opportunity.

Chelsea have been sending him out loan for the last 4 years. It's nothing new.

While i do find our youf and loaning system a bit ridiculous its not hurting anyone and makes the club money so i cant really complain about it.

These kids are happy to do it and the club is happy to sell them if they want to be sold. Everyone wins.

I guess you would have said the same for guys like Courtois, Moses, Christensen etc.

That source is a breakfast radio DJ saying he 'heard it had happened' as well as a radio station with links to Barca.

Seems silly to me but I guess you never know. Either way, Liverpool still have to agree to sell him and they won't. Not unlike Keita I guess.
