yep, its march, yep i'm bored... the trash talk has already begun though.. gives us all something to talk about/speculate...

some rumours about at the moment, just to kick of discussion

Diego to Real Madrid

Quaresma available for 40 million euro's according to Porto Chairman

David Villa wants leave Valencia, Tottenham of all teams seem to be the frontrunners

Lampard's contract still up in the air.

Saviola on the move again... should go to premier league imo

Giovani dos Santos may be sold as his contract demands outweigh his performance so far.. 10 million Euro is said to be enough.. i rekon it'd take a bit more than that

speculate away!

Re: Summer Transfers Thread

Giovanni Dos West Ham?

Reel him in Nani

Realistically we should be spending atleast 20-30 mill. ****ed if I know what we are gonna spend it on. A left back and some goals would be nice

Re: Summer Transfers Thread

Villa to Tottenham is the one that has really got me.. a sideways move if i've ever seen one.. surely he must be an option to replace drogba at chelsea.. liverpool need to have a crack aswell (they won't though)

I get the feeling Spurs will be linked with every striker and his dog this transfer window - particularly if Berbatov decides to leave.

That's not just backwards it's round the corner, out of London, up the freeway, past Sheffield, north of Scotland and into the bloody ocean. :p

Eboue to Barcelona :D went up today.

No one else wants him more or less. I dont think Villa is jumping up and down outside White Hart Lane screaming "Pick me". Until someone else makes a 20 mill offer then hes gonna have to choose between staying or Tottenham. Easy choice surely....

seems likely there will be a major bidding war over Diego. Chelsea, Barca & Madrid all on the lookout for a new attacking midfielder. funnily enough i reckon Diego's destination depends heavily on Frank Lampard's decision.. he stays at Chelsea = their interest dwindles, Lampard signs for Barca = their interest dwindles... you'd have to think Madrid are in the box seat. Don't want Madrid to get their grubby hands on him though. Modric is gonna be our man i think..

thierry henry to lyon, wtf?

Sven wants him at Man City as well apparently.. can't see him going anywhere, he has had his adjustment season and next season i reckon he'll be more at home. besides we courted him for like 4 seasons before signing him, i doubt we'll get rid of him after just one year..

Milan are planning a Premier League raid with Drogba & Gerrard on the top of their lists.. imagine Gerrard playing in Italy:D he'd fit in with his diving i guess:cool:

Harry Kewell of all people is being lined up as Aiden McGeady's replacement at Celtic

Saviolas been put up for sale by Real it seems. Should net 6 or so mill for him. I think he will move away from Spain altogether and probably head to the Prem League. I expect him to be a Hammer in a few months time

That would be a great move for all parties.

The stupid git should've signed for us when we wanted him. Could've been a handy player this season with van Persie and Rosicky made of air and Dudu's unfortunate injury.

True, anywhere but Real surely was a good option. I imagine alot of clubs will be interested. Man City are another one who would be all over it like a rash

Rumours I've read:

- Saviola will leave Real Madrid as they are keen on signing another star striker
- Milan, Juventus, Roma and Chelsea are all battling it out to sign Mario Gomez
- Diego to Real Madrid
- David Villa wants to leave the La Liga; Tottenham/Man Utd/Chelsea are interested
- Milan want Drogba and Gerrard
- Giovanni Dos Santos will leave Barca if they don't improve contract offers
- Porto will let Quaresma go for €40 mil

Harry Kewell of all people is being lined up as Aiden McGeady's replacement at Celtic

Would be happy with that, on the merit that McGeady would be leaving.

I've always thought about Kewell at Celtic, certainly is interesting.

Kewell leaving the team that I support to the other that team I support would be weird, but in a good way.

I reckon Dos Santos might end up over in England, maybe Chelsea? They don't exactly have the best youth going around.

if you want rumours, this site is usually good for some bizare/wishful ones mixed in with the truth

This is there latest offering from their contributors

So according to someone on here Arsenal are signing Eto'o, Benzema, Richards, and Menez, which would be an outlay of around £100 million. When was the last time Wenger spent that much in one seson, since taking over his net spend a season on average has been around £5–6 million, so it's another made up rumour from a gooner in dream land. And why would he want to sign two top draw forwards after Adebeyour excelling this season. If Eto'o does leave then he is only going to go to two teams in the Summer –Chelsea or Milan, both will be on the Hunt for a top class forward, due to Drogba leaving and Milan having a over the hill Pipo and Gilardino struggling to find his feet at the San Siro.
David Villa will be chased by the two clubs, along with Tottenham and Liverpool, but lets be honest, Tottenham have not got a chance. They are a team with UeFa Cup football next season, a great manager, but still a million miles away from breaking into the top 4.
Manchester City will make big improvements next season, they have achieved a lot this season with the amounts of players coming and going in the Summer, and with the Thai chairman giving Sven a huge kitty to spend in the Summer, the blue half of he City will be singing again.
the Hammers will have a lot of players coming and going, especially with Nani coming in to help with scouting and negotiations, Magnesson has finally realised Curbishley may be a decent coach but does not know the transfer market half aswell as Sven, Wenger, Benitez or even Redknapp. It's a lot different when the pressure is on at a place like Upton Park (not at Valley Parade anymore) and finding the right players to compete with the big boys at the top on a bigger budget. I believe he is out of his depth, and will be unable to meet his chairmans expectations.
One rumour which is true is that there will be a tug of war for the croat startlet Rakitic from Schalke between Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real, Juve and FC Barcelona. Modric is Chelsea bound. Amauri will be chased by Milan, Chelsea and Real too. All three will want at least one top class front man.

Thanks for Reading, Rob–'W. N. W's'

Ill just say a couple of things Scott Mcdonald will not leave Celtic he is a die hard Celtic fan his blood is green and white so stop all the nonsence he is going to England.

Everton will do a triple–threat raid on Celtic, looking to buy Scott Brown, Aiden McGeady and Scott McDonald close friend of Tim Cahill.

Everton are also looking to bolster their midfield by swooping for Kim kallstrom and Michael bradley.

manuel fernands will not be offered a deal but Steven pienaar will.

Everton are looking at a number of right backs too

David Villa will be leaving Valencia in the Summer but will not be joining Tottenham as some of their dillusional fans have stated. He will sign for Liverpool for £12 million. If this deal falls through for any reason, Rafa will attempt ot lure Thierry Henry back to the P. L in either a sraight swap with Xabi Alonso or £12 million. David Silva, also of Valencia is another possibility although Rafa may be put off by his price tag. Rafinha, Lahm ot Heinze will be brought in, along with either Quaresma or Van Der Vaart. More transfers to come.

LFC will sign theese players in the Summer:
David Silva–20 million
Sergio Aguero–18 million
Oscar Trejo–Loan
Phillip Lahm–10 million
Samir Nasri–12 million
Fernandez–7 million
Rafinha–9 million
They might sign theese players:

Young full back ben Tyler from Port Kembla FC in Australia will join Tranmere Rovers in the transfer period for 5000.
this will see Milwall Goal Keeper Blagojce Jovcevski to Cork City.

Looks like Jenas may be on the move this Summer – just seen his house been put up for sale – fact.

David Villa's availibility will alert Rafa Benitez who is now keen to offer £22 million for the Spanish forward from Valencia as well as £18 million for Argentine, Sergio Aguero from Athletico Madrid. Benitez will also snap up David Bentley for £9.5 million. Benitez will total his spending to around £60 million by adding either Gabriel Heinze or Wayne Bridge for around £4.5 million.
Benitez will look to build his side with a Villa/Torres partnership with Sergio Aguero playing just behind them.
= v1=

Rafa will be given another season in charge at Anfield when DIC get gilletts shares, Hicks will give Rafa money and DIC will double what hicks gives, with this money he will sign Joe and Ashley Cole to play down the left, Lennon for the right, micah Richards and Johnson from City and a surprise forward Jermaine Defoe. He will also look at some BIG European signings too. out will be going Riise (sad to see him go), hyypia, Voronin, Kuyt, possibly Pennant,. Crouch and Carson will stay, as both want to stay fight for their places.
LFC for Premier League next year

The rumours are coming thick and fast but here are a few that have not hit the radar just yet
1) Buffon to Man United as Ferguson clears out VDS and Kusiak
2) Arsenal will go for David Villa of Valencia
3) Chelsea want Kaka AT ANY COST
4) Liverpool will go for the position of No. 10 the player they want is is Kun Aguero but they also want Sergio Ramos so it all depends on finance
5) Everton want Riquelme they have been working on him all this season
6) Portsmouth want Nicky Butt and Wes Brown
7) Tottenham want Jesus Navas as a replacement for outgoing Aaron Lennon
THATS IT but will GIVE MORE AS I GET IT

Dave Nugent to join Leicester City on loan with a view to a permanent deal to play alongside Steve Howard.

Plymouth are interested in Matty Fryatt for 750,000.

Iain Hume is attracting interest from Sheff United.

Elvis Hammond to Luton Town at the end of the season.

Jon Hayes to MK Dons at the end of the season.

LFC Rumours

Ins:

David Villa
David Bentley
Heinze or Bridge

Outs:

Riise
Voronin
Itandje

A load of the reserves/youth will be loaned out or released but do not be suprised to see a few commming through, i.e Darby, Spearing, Hobbs, Nemeth

Liverpool may well sign Phillip Lahm this Summer, I think there will be a few teams to compete with but he is destined to move away from Bayern. However, to the person who said it was because he wanted to move to a bigger club. In terms of stature and so forth there are not many bigger clubs than Bayern – I could see him wanting to play in a better league though.

As a Newcastle fan, I predict either the brightest of bright futures or the bleakest of times ahead. If we stay up then if only a handful of the rumours come true: eg.

Henry
Deco
Mertesacker
Puyol

then we will do well next year.
However expect a MASS exodus if relegation does occur and even a Leeds–esque demise.

Gilberto Silva is not going to Newcastle but Mark van Bommel is. His replacement at Munich is Tim Borowski of Bremen. The much needed flair in the Newcastle midfield will come from Lucho Gonzalez and the remaining transfers will be coming from around the English and Scottish Premier League as Ashley needs to make big, nay, HUGE steps forward if they are to prove any kind of investment.

Liverpool are to sign Maicon of Inter as well as Aimar this is not instead of any favourites ie David Villa, coming into the club but as well as.

Arsenal Ins
Diogo
Arsenal Outs
Gilberto
J Hoyte
E Adebayor

This Summer, Man United's signings will be:
Miguel Veloso (Sporting Lisbon)
Carlos Idriss Kameni (Espanyol)
Jan Klaas Huntelaar (Ajax)

Basically year after year Giovani and his Agent have told our management that every big club is after him and he has had plenty of offers to leave Barca for better wages and first team football but decided to stay loyal at barcelona. basically he is trying to pretend to be loyal and suck the cash out of us.. The club has basically had enough and said show us all these offers. if you are getting such good offers then take one. we don't mind we've got no hesitation in selling you... he is trying to scare us into giving him a nice contract and we are trying to scare him into signing for what we are offering... who knows how it'll end
