Two young KPP. Both been impressive this year.
Who would you rather?
Jarrad Waite is 24 yrs old
Travis Cloke is 20 yrs old

Waite has shown more to date, but you would expect that given the age gap.

Cloke looks like he will become a very good CHF. His inaccuracy is well documented and will need to be addressed, but his marking has improved out of sight this year.

In the end Waite is probably better suited to a flank than key position, and key positions will always be more valuable.

Good Poll. Cloke for me based on potential, but Waite is very talented.

For Essendon i would take Waite but if i was building a side from scratch i would be inclined to take Cloke. He would be an awesome forward if he nailed his set shots. Based on the potential of him doing that i would pick Cloke.

Waite is the better player with the brighter future.
I remember the other Cloke boys about the same age, being talked up as good players now look how good they are..:thumbsd::thumbsd: Trav will be the same.
Waite is alot more versatile compared to Cloke, and will become a very good player like a Trent Croad where he can be pushed forward or back depending on the situation.

If he's to be a good player it won't be like Croad then.

Ah, a Collingwood supporter who is still dirty about Hawthorn's enigmatic victory the other week over the shattered Pies.
Croad is an important part of the Hawthorn FC. We got rid of him for a couple of draft picks and let him go on holiday, then brought him back home to sexy the team back up again.
Throughout juniors, your told to play the whistle..... the ball was clearly in anyway which is why the whistle never blew... Go the Bloods, Tunners are crap by the way big man

Are you still spewing chaddles cos R.T is a churchie and gave you doughnuts? :D

I am over the whole churchie thing... obviously your not. I can understand your pain being a collingwood supporter and all the disappointment that the club has given you over the years. Especially when Bang Bang Didak is off the rails again, and you have Anthony Rocca still playing ravishing football... he impressed me with his -1 there on the Herald Sun rankings the other week

Waite. More suited to the modern game, very mobile player. Although cloke is very young he is a power-forward and other than Pavlich these power forwards aren't having great years.

Jarrad Waite is 4 years older, and still manages one decent game up forward out of every three, at best.

Travis Cloke, if he can correct his kicking, is already one of the better CHFs in the league at 20 years old.

Travis Cloke by the length of Remington. Very good player and in the next 2 or 3 year will be a real headache for defenders. Good long kick, ( all together now... JUST NEEDS TO WORK ON HIS ACCURACY )

Would love to have cloke running around chf.

WOW, i didn't realise he was THAT young. Clicking on this thread i was thinking Waite easily, but Cloke is only 20 and id imagine would have alot of improvement left in him, very hard to seperate the 2, so im not going to bother picking one.

All you had to do is watch today's game to realise how much potential Cloke has. Waite has potential as a flanker type forward, with great athletic ability who can do some brilliant things, but Cloke is going to be one of the best power forwards in the league for the next decade.

Yeah, that's true about having only one full preseason, hard to believe. Getting rid of Tarrant has done wonders for C3.

Waite is very talented. But T Cloke looks like being an elite player. Not many 20 year olds I would swap him for at this stage. He has consistently dominated periods of games this year and clubs all know what to expect and he is still able to infleunce games.

Good luck playing on him for the next 10 years. Some of those undersized defenders will have problems with him.

travis cloke, though both are looking better each week. waite is versatile, cloke will be more of a forward though i reckon he could slot in down back as well if needed. i go for cloke because it is the big forwards that win games. would be happy with either, bonus as f/s aswell.
