Yes and no. One thing that has always bugged me about T2 is something that often goes completely unnoticed: if you go in cold, you don't know who's the good guy and who's the bad guy until the hallway shootout where John, Arnie and the T-1000 share the scene for the first time. A good 30 minutes in?

But unfortunately, even back in 1991, no one actually went in cold, because "Arnie is the good guy now" was so central to the way the film was marketed. Even as a 10 year old I remember being bugged by that.

I was lucky enough at twelve to have this experience having just seen T1 on VHS like days earlier and then watching T2 completely baffled by the fact that liquid policeman robot was the bad guy.

Yeah, spoilers and marketing blunders not withstanding. I probably saw T2 first as a kid so for me it was awesome watching T1 for the first time after seeing T2 and seeing Arnie as the bad guy

Yeah I saw T2 first as well, and Aliens before Alien. I remember thinking the latter was boring af in comparison at the time.

Did anyone not think Kevin Spacey was gay?

I actually thought he'd 'come out' ages ago.

I also found it odd that people who didn't know he was gay, expected him to address accusations of sexually harassing a male without acknowledging his sexual preference.

"I apologise for trying to **** that 14yo boy but I'm totally not gay. [winkeyfaceemoji]"

I hate horse racing and especially Melbourne cup malarkey

But not enough apparently, to boycott free lunch

A few years ago the ACT gumment thought they'd be smart and have a public holiday on the first Tuesday in November, 'Family & Community Day' or some such wank - nothing to do with a certain horse race down south on the same day of course - but it nearly sent all the catering providers in Canberra broke due to the lack of office functions, so they gave that idea away pretty quickly :D

A whole lot of people are getting excited at the thought of some small people whipping the shit out of some lovely horses.

It’s as contemptible as Sea World and those bogus wildlife sanctuaries in SE Asia where they make elephants do circus tricks for tourism dollars.

I think the problem is that he has benefited by being in the closet for so long, that being forced out of it as a result of this incident in particular was beyond the pale. His statement played directly into the fantasies of troglodytes everywhere who don't know the difference between homosexuality and pedophilia.

Cup Day update from Melbourne: I made a sandwich and it has Big Mac Sauce in it

I just got scolded at work for not being interested in socialising with work chuds because muh melbs cup.

Working > socialising with government employees.

I didn't notice that, might be worth a re-watch.

To stop the nagging I have an olympic policy, I have agreed to do every fourth 'do'.

Reasonable and nobody keeps count, so I can cheat a little :).
