for the most part, this forum is pretty good. that's why i come here, it's good for little discussions. i can get my footy fix during the week and see what's going down.
but you, you bring nothing to this. you say you've been around for a week observing people, and then your first posts are complete wastes of time. go ahead, jump on the Dxmxgxd train, bag him inarticulately and fill entire pages with your idiocy. you still won't get any respect for it. you think you're a champion of the people for having a go at dxmxgxd (whose name, by the way, isn't that bloody hard to remember)? there've been plenty, and you're just another tool.

Yes thats a good point about hicks... but although he doesnt line up in one of the 'key' forward possys (FF,CHF) you could still name him as a 'key' forward if we are talking about the monashs forward line. They dont have alot down forward apart from jimmy and hicks....hence a key forward.

But it's a tough one to call really. OH have been in blistering form lately, so i'll tip them. It's a reluctant decision though, I'm not quite willing to discount the brooding egos at Hampton. They copped a rough loss last week and won't go down easy.
Key Fwd is short for Key Position player ie FF, CHF even CHB, FB mainly of 193cms +
In the games i saw of Monash he never lined up in a FF position, hell.. he even rotated through the middle at times and i hardly think Monash wanted a Midfield Midget in a key position, it was predominately Powell, and or the other talls resting from the ruck.
How many goals did Powell end up??

Haileybury were the best team... but hampton dominated the first quater which was enough for them, mazanod to win the gf by 80 points. Hampton cant play 4 quaters, pity it wont be a contest.....and kyle before you pipe up you will lose and hopefully for your sake you will go hard, pulled out too many times tonight

while he was having sex with haileybury, hampton should have won by more we played really bad footy for 2 and a bit quarters. haileybury the best team????? they just made the finals after they stacked there team with ones players in the last final rounds. lets see now what was better for the club haileybury getting beaten in the prelim in the under 19s after they stacked there 19s with ones players or there seniors getting relegated???
haha yeah i guess......na hes more of one of those impact players that fires a whole side up and gets them back in the game. Def deserves to be captain....for one bloke to lift a side like he can, he def deserves his captaincy
Agree with footyguru.....disagree with tugboat, hampton where the best side, great game of footy, and after hampton dominated in the 1st, OH came back pretty hard to put themselves back in it, and from then on it was almost goal for goal until the siren. Def think benny hampton had a good game and lachy nash....think erickson could have lifted to have more of an impact on the game. For hampton amon sweeny had a cracker and so did giasoumi and morecroft...either way great match to see.
Next week im guessing will be alot closer than the last time maz played rovers... shall be a cracking game.

About time sweeny did something. Seen him play a few times this season. Heard that he was a pretty good player, bout the reputation was all he had going for him from what i saw.
Good to see Hampton get through to the granny. They have done the hard yards this season and deserve a chance to get their hands on the cup. Always play with plenty of spirit and despite what alot are saying about young Kyle, he has had a brilliant season and fills his role well. Not everyone can go in and under, Kyle fills his role well after some of the other blokes like Stowe get in and get the pill. It works well for the rovers.
Still, Maz have just been that step above the competition this year really. Havent really been challenged at any stage, although some say this may be to their peril. I dont think so. They should win it but anything can happen in the granny.
Good luck to both teams.
And if you wanna jump on here and rag on other blokes for giving their opinion then do everyone a favor and push off. Its not entertaining and its not wanted.
