Predicted side for tonight:
Almunia
Sagna - Toure - Gallas - Clichy
Arshavin - Denilson - Diaby - Nasri
RvP - Bentdner

Eduardo has made the squad, will probably be on the bench.

I actually reckon Eduardo will start and if we rap up the result he will be subbed off after about an hour. If we don't rap it up then Bendtner will come on and rescue the game again.

Well we can make a comeback today if we win.

Man U lost 2-0 to fulham and Chelsea lost 1-0 to spurs

BTW great penalty save by Almunia!!

Pfft, screw them. We're too far away.

Need to put some daylight between us and Villa/Everton. Confident Liverpool will beat Villa tomorrow. We can still win this, created some golden chances so far but as usual, not taking any of them.

Good win, we'll have a nice buffer on Villa if Liverpool win tomorrow.

Good win, and good results all round for Arsenal today. It's important that Everton lost and Villa go down tommorrow. I would rather cement 4th than worry about an unrealistic push for the title.
I thought Clichy was superb and Bendtner is having a decent run in the side which will be good for his development. Good finish from Diaby, but his distribution in the EPL doesn't compare to his CL performances. He seems flat in league matches sometimes.

Arsène Wenger is cautiously optimistic that Theo Walcott’s injury is not as bad as first feared.
The England winger went down with a knee problem as he walked off from training on Friday. It was thought that the injury could be cartilage damage and he might be sidelined until May. However initial inspections have been encouraging and he may come back earlier.
"The scan results were reassuring," Wenger told Setanta TV ahead of the game at Newcastle.
"Theo still has a swollen knee. The news is there does not seem to be any cartilage or cruciate damage."

Good news, he is crucial if we are to cement 4th and push for the cups.

If it's a ten day injury then he could be back for City, we don't play for fourteen days as it is. Just let the swelling go down and he'll be fine.

We've got through 6 games in 18 days with 3/3 wins in the League, progressed 2 rounds in the FA Cup and 1 round in the CL. And that's without Fabregas or Adebayor. That's simply brilliant.

April is another huge month the boys should be going into it with a lot of confidence. Been great to see some of our maligned players like Eboue, Bendtner and Almunia (who is criminally underrated) do well too.

Brilliant performance, some observations....
Diaby, his goal reeked of Paddy Vieira, he just gets better and better.
Arshavin seems to have taken over the Overmars/Pires/Hleb/Rosicky role IE, get the absolute shit kicked out of him all over the pitch. I suppose when you are that good these things will happen. He was assaulted at every opportunity this morning.
Loved Bendtner`s goal, beautifully flighted over by A.A, as Darealrath says, there is nothing like one of the boys who is constantly maligned to score a vital goal like that.
Almunia is world class.

I have liked Diaby a lot recently but his distribution in the first half was terrible.

Yep. he is too inconsistent. Terrible first half but then all of a sudden his split personality changes and he becomes "Super Diaby". Great goal and then everything after turned too gold. Needs to back it up now.

Finally we have a good indirect free kick taker in Arshavin. Van Persie can score directly from them but Arshavin can put the ball onto someones head. Thats something that I think we have lacked over the last few years.

There is a man called Nasri ... I have heard he is pretty good at both.

Also, another guy .. oh yeah, his name is Fabregas or something. I recall him getting 2 or 3 (or 10) assists for in-direct free kicks.

Yes it is good to have another one, but we did already have those two.

Nasri's indirect free kicks have been hot and cold, some days hes been good but some days he hasnt looked threatening at all.
We do rely on Fab a lot generally he has to take corners on both sides because he is the only one who is really threatening, although rvp's corners have been ok so far this season.
