Wenger said both have passed their medicals, it's simply awaiting the paperwork to be finished. He said it should be announced early this week, so any day now.

I don't think there'll be another signing. Reports suggested Wenger caught up with Griezemann in July during the Euros in France, but he's happy to stay in Madrid.

We've signed (or about to sign) a DM, centre half and a striker. The three main areas that needed strengthening.

So I'd say our work is done unless something from left field emerges in the coming days.

Other than that, predicting loan spells for Chambers and Gnabry once a club can be found.

Mustafi has confirmed in an interview that he's signed a 5 year contract with us. Ozil a big factor in convincing him to join.

Still a bit of twitter chat that the "madness" signing is still a possibility with Draxler and James the two names being mentioned. Not holding my breath though.

or Greizemann, would improve us hugely but probably require a change in formation to 2 up front which I don't see happening.

Yeah he'd be playing off Giroud as he does with France, doesn't really provide a viable alternative to Giroud though. Would be better than Sanchez up front though.

I don't think he's there yet either but he too looks exciting. I'd also love Gnabry to build on his Olympics, has been the forgotten man last couple of seasons. Maybe one more looan should do the job and hopefully he can displace a departing Walcott next season.

I'm also (extremely) early days giddy about Holding too.

Even though matches are delayed, I'm quite enjoying the ArsenalTV block each week. Great pickup by Fox, the club channels/blocks.

Do you use the Foxtel Go app or similar? Because simply searching for 'Arsenal' gives a good listing of what's to come. For example, I just found out they're showing the replay of the u23 game v Liverpool tomorrow.

Might check that out as well, I like seeing how Reine-Adelaide is coming along.

I do but rarely use it. Might have to start using it more.

Happy with the signings as they are upgrades on what we have.

As others have mentioned we still don't have a pure striker to challenge Giroud. I'm a big fan of him though, so hopefully he can bang in 20+ goals. Please.

Ideally we would have sold at least one of Walcott or Ox.

I though Holding and Kos have been great last two games.

I also think its a little unfair to compare Chambers to Holding. Holding spent the entirety of last season playing in his preferred position for 20+ games getting some consistent practice and valuable learning.

Chambers had the odd handful of games last season and showed a bit of promise as a CB. He needs a good run of games to actually learn week in week out so going out on loan to Boro is the best thing for him.

I'd really really like to see Wenger go hard for someone like like Rodriguez.

Since he is married to Ospina's sister.......Get in there David and convince him!

Most of those games was at RB though, he looks much better as a centre half.

He came on at half time last year in one game (pretty sure it was Leicester) and looked really good. But struggled for opportunities since.

He should benefit from a loan and playing an entire season as a centre half.
