that 2nd goal V Fulham should have never gone in it was terrible keeping from Mannone
I've seen the game in it's entirety now and paid particular attention to Fulham's second goal and you are right, it shouldn't have gone in: he did get caught in a terrible position.

Initially I thought that it was a good header and it was but a good 'keeper should have dealt with it.

Just on who we might/should sign in the upcoming transfer window; I'd be giving Norwich as much as they want for Javier Behobide Garrido and the same would go for Vorm, subject to a medical of course. Either Vorm or Stockdale from Fulham: he wouldn't be expensive but he is far superior to our two blokes.

With a top keeper and a fantastic left back like Garrido, we'd be right up near the top. I'd take the captain's arm band off Vermaelen, give it to Arteta with Wilshere vice-captain and use Vermaelen where and if needed. A back four of Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Garrido in front of a top line 'keeper would be magnificent.

Unfortunately, Wenger doesn't buy in the winter.

ox has started this morning (in for theo on the right) and is looking good. kos should have buried that header earlier.

Good solid win, some well taken goals with podolski's obviously being the standout. Hopefully we see more of those rockets from him. Truth be told Montpellier were pretty average, but a win is a win and we've now sealed our progress. Shcalke will take spot I believe.

Cazorla was exhausted, surprised we left him on for so long, should have been subbed off earlier. We're running the risk of burning this bloke out. Ox was very good and got involved in a number of plays.

Podolski's goal was amazeballs.

Thought Jack was class in everything he did except his passing :p

Slowly but surely getting back to his best. Surely we must look at Podolski playing as the central striker, is just so darn clinical. Also that midfield trio looked more solid defensively then in recent weeks, which is a good thing.

Giroud - 2 assists, the man can play.

Your location worries me. However agreed with your comments. Jack's first goal in about 2 years for us, very neatly tucked away.

potential line up for the olympiakos game:

mannone
jenko djourou miquel santos
coq ramsey
ox arshavin gnabry
gervinho

however there is still the chance to get top spot, but its unlikely shcalke will lose/draw to montpellier

actually just read this, wenger will aim for top spot:

Not that Wenger will stop there either. The Arsenal manager confirmed that he would play his full team in the final game against Olympiakos in order to try to overtake Schalke in first.
"We play to finish top of the group," he added. "If you look at some of the groups, like Dortmund and Real Madrid, you don't know whether it's better to finish first or second. But, statistically, it's better to finish first."

Podolski doesn't really have to worry about being an extra full back now and that is very significant for The Arsenal.
