I've heard reports she said " I'm going to take this f***ing ball and shove it down your f***ing throat" Absolutely terrible behaviour on Serena's part and is looking at a 1 year ban from the game. I guess in time we will find out what was really said along with the consequences.

Never been a fan of Serena and loved watching her get booed off the court.

Didn't Serena threaten another player, could've been Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez at the French Open? Both were at the net, Serena "accidently" hit MJMS in the arm, the ball rebounded back in to Serena's side and MJMS was awarded the point (this was on break point). MJMS said it didn;t hit her on the arm (it clearly did) Serena accused her of cheating and mentioned something along the lines of "im gonna get you in the locker room."

Classic entertainment.

Say what you like about Serena, on her day she may be the best and close to unstoppable, but is nowhere near the unstoppable force like her and Venus were of the early part of this decade. And isn't that great to see?
Aussie Kim was the better player on the day, poor girl was left stunned, like all of us at that display of animation (to put it politely) of Serena, yes it was the heat of the moment but that is no excuse for that type of behaviour and you cannot blame the lineswoman for feeling threatened at all.
Can't say that Serena has ever accepted defeat graciously either in the past.
Spectacular way to finish the game all in all really.

Either way, Clijsters won it. Serena's fault she couldn't contain her temper out on court, and she was having a very average day as well.

Just saw it of FSN then for the first time.

Epic meltdown, and could clearly lip read her saying, to the lineswoman "I'm gonna take this ball and shove it down your ****ing throat."

And then in the post match press conferance claimed "I've never been in a fight in my life, I don't know why the lineswoman felt threatened."

Looked pretty intimidating, especially considering the fact the lineswoman was tiny and Serena is.. well... quite masculine.

Can't see it happening. She will get some ridiculously small fine, which she will pay out of her loose change. That's why this sort of behaviour hasn't been stamped out of tennis, the administration doesn't have the balls to deal with it properly.

Start handing out meaningful fines, which actually hurt the pockets of these ill behaved prima donnas, and let's see what happens then. I wonder if this bitch would behave the same way again if she knew she was facing a substantial (and I mean substantial) fine?
