That Edwards vs Monfries shot was high, and very late. I think he'll cop a week.

The reaction from Monfries sums it up though, he barely felt it and some credit to him that he could have sold it much more to the umpires. Still hate the twat though.

just watched the replay and cant say much about this game. A good win, that could have been a smashing if we kicked straight, but it was like circle work alot of the time.
Apart from the usual suspects in terms of our best, was impressed with the way Dea & Batch played. Hellbig showed me something in this game too. Astbury eased himself into senior footy, with limited relevance but he did look better than he did at Coburg..
Pretty standard issue performance from the tigers in this one. Pleasing that they have maintained this type of output throughout the whole season...big plus..
Now lets touch up Port and get this team ready for the big push next year..
I want a 10-0 start next year..;)

Hellbig showed me that the thread about him being a keeper has a skerrit of reality.
Dea, moved well, controlled his space and delivered the ball with precision...I am beginning to have a real good feeling about this dude...I cant put my finger on it, but his awareness of potential targets is real good. All he needs now is another year or 2 of experience..

Circle work was good, but its easy when you are doing it with the traffic cones in grey and red..

About as good a summation about where Dea is in regards to his position at RFC as i have read here at BF...Dea interests me as a player...

I am not sure from watching his play...what his level is...or whether he has reached it yet...but he looked ok against the Bombers...like you have posted...

He still strikes me as a player that does not play instinctive footy...ie...takes the game...opposition on...or fires off the first option...

Appeares to be a more measured player....controlled...

Time and more games will tell us where his true level is...

Spot on about the circle work and skerrit...:thumbsu:...

Hardwick said he wanted to try some things and I think one of them (he has been reading these forums or my emails at the least) was putting Newman up the ground a little, how good was he?!!?!? Love Newman, such a great player.

I see a real future for Dea , love his ball handling , courage and disposal was very good ....he has quite a bit to work wih
Dea looked like he had 80 games under his belt on Friday night. Was his best game by far. Look assured and confident.
Knobs like me just need to keep in mind that we cannot judge players until they have been given time to come to grips with the pace of AFL level.

Can't really be overly excited about the win. Still happy we finished their season off though. The look on Hird's face was priceless. They were atrocious though. From the first bounce really they were never really in it. They have been massacred by injuries but it's no excuse for the last 2 weeks. They've just been utter shit.

Cotchin, Deledio, Martin & Maric were all really good. Would like to see more of Astbury forward and thought Mcguane who let's be honest will never be a great player really worked his guts out and provided a contest which is what he's there for. Riewoldt could've had 6 goals and led the Coleman race if it weren't for his poor kicking. His kicking has really dropped off this year. Will need a pre-season of set shock practice for 2013. Great players will always turn it around.

Would keep the same team against the Power besides White (Injured) > Elton.

Yeah I may need to re-think my opinion on Dea... until Friday I thought he was looking like one of those projects that just does not quite come off.

Someone somewhere posted that he reminded them of Rance early on... plenty of run and courage + a good size but just adjusting to AFL level.... this rings true with me.

Looking forward to see him next year after this years experience + another pre-season. :thumbsu:

go out on a limb here and suggest that the way he moves, i.e. pretty much always looking at all his options and the way he really doesnt move fast, but has time, I know its a long bow to draw and they do have similar backgrounds coming into the game, but call me a looney, but he reminds me of a Pendlebury.

I think plenty were far to quick to judge on this fella like we had another jon on our hands, he s shown some good signs for a while, prob patched it all together on fri and made a real contribution

Congrats to you all. We were dissipointing in all areas and Richmonds kicking was the only thing that made the final score look like it was a contest.
I was at the game and would like to thank the Richmond cheer squad for a good night out. I was dreading the game when i realized that i was sitting 2 rows behind you guys, but that soon changed, i have been to many games and seen cheer squads at their best and worse and the tiger army was fantastic, nothing over the top no stuipity i would have happily sat in the same spot with my kids.
The result was not to my liking but the surrounding crowd was great.

Thanyou, Hemiway.
