Tom called went to air in Andrew McLarrens who is filling in for Denis Walter show just aftef 8:10pm and said he had passed

I remember being at Princes Park (Optus Oval) at the time as a young lad playing around after a game while my parents and their boss were lucky enough to be in an after match function.

I went back upstairs to let them know I was ok before going back to kick the footy in the stands and Jack asked me for my flag - he took it around and had all the players sign it for me. I still have it in my mum's garage.

Feeling a bit nostalgic and sad at the passing of Big Jack. A larger than life character who absolutely loved the Carlton Football club. Love him or hate him he did a lot for the Blues and I wish all the Elliot family all the best and sincere condolences.
