I was tossing up him and Poppy last week and went Smith.

Think it's more of a niggle - copped a knee knock early in the game last week and struggled a bit. Then again................

Anyone who didn't go with Sandi and Cox in the ruck deserves what they get imo. They are clearly the best, and anyone who didn't pick them knew they were taking a big risk.

I've actually been really happy with my Cox/Petrie combo in the ruck with Zac Smith supporting on the bench. Petrie is averaging 81 and will be upgraded to Sandilands at some stage.

Any other week I could have just used Zac Smith instead but now I'll have to blow another trade or face a donut.

Not happy about Isaac Smith going out the week after I traded him in either, means I won't have an emergency in my mids with Swallow and Harris on the bench as well.

It would be nice if the player I picked instead didn't miss more games in the first 8 rounds this year than he has in the last 5 years combined, drop his average by 15 points a game and then after being listed as a week or two away for three weeks suddenly have his coach come out and say he'll be gone for a month though.

This. Can't believe Lyon dropped him. He must be smoking so much crack lately. McEvoy has been one of Saints best players this season. Makes absolutely no sense to me especially seeing Blake given the number one ruckmans role.

got beaten by 3 points and my opponent had Fyfe, who manages to kick an inverse banana torp off his left from the boundary in the second qtr... then bags another shithouse goal right on the siren to finish my anal fisting. ON THE SIREN. i am sick to death of that skinny cherry picking donkey and i vow that the ****ter will never ever see a spot in my best 22.. i dont care if he gets to premium swan status, he is a filthy dog and i hate him.

Fyfe is one of those players who loves possessions regardless of the scores or whether the siren has gone....Most of my players appear to be those who play to win regardless of stats...Ie if the game is over and the siren goes at the end of the quarter/game, they won't take a kick....Even if Freo were down 100pts and the siren goes, Fyfe will take a kick... (Need to find these kind of players).

btw +1 I vow never to get Fyfe in either DT/SC (well at least this year)... Fyfe has absolutely punished me, but oh well....

Same. Between Petrie and Smith i have hardly had a bad score due to the way i have changed them around. Every game Smith has played without Fraser he has scored well in so i have played him those rounds and Petrie has scored well the weeks i have had him on

Although Sandi is averaging a good 105 i am hoping the money i saved has been worth it.

Maybe more resting him rather than dropping him, he has been our lone ruckman for most of the season and they may have decided to give him a break against Melbourne who are missing Jamar.

Bad week to do it though with Gold Coast having a bye.
