Anyone else notice that Butler cant really follow through with his kicks? He's all chips and handballs.

Might not have confidence in his hammy's to follow through

Jordan Jones didn't play?

Schofield, very dissapointing.

And I fear that there is a strong chance Mr Jetta will not end up playing for us.

Jordan Jones had 8 disposals. Looks like it wasnt the best week for Eagles in the wafl. Great game by Butler though:thumbsu:. Anyone know how Swift went for Claremont?

Great game from my man Butler :thumbsu:

Might not have confidence in his hammy's to follow through

Theres an article focused on Butler in today's paper where he says hes finally confident in his hammy last couple of weeks and been able to kick 50m passes with his leg swinging across his body... so Id say like someone else said that its more about the loose man they were playing = lots of chipping.

Also apparently Staker got a significant wrist / hand injury

He's 20 years old, very thin, family is in the SW, decided against playing WAFL last year to play SWFL down here to be closer to his fam are all reasons that I don't see him going first round, unless it's late first round.

Will hopefully fall straight to our second round pick - but who knows what Melbourne will do.

He won't go first round will he?
Second round and I'm not sure if he is what Melbourne will be drafting for with their second round pick, having a couple of young developing crumbers and a couple of potentially fleet of foot mid/HF types who can finish well.

Then again they may view him as the best available or Fremantle may finish below us.

did anyone see nicknat, yarran, walters in the crowd today(on tv) at the swan dist vs perth, yarran seems to always be in perth, read in the carlton board early in the year that early in the season he went home to see family. gotta feeling he probably will come home soon.

the judd trade showed that we should never trade with carlton
lost me there chief, Kennedy is only 21 so will be a star at 24, Masten has only just turned 20 and Notte is skinny but only 19 and will be a very good FF.

Best deal we ever made!:thumbsu:

Judd was going right or wrong so to get a deal like that shows how good our drafting team is. Carlton could have played hard ball and we would have been far worse off.

Carlton were forced into giving up lots for Judd because every other club wanted to get Judd to their club. The deal was fantastic for us.:thumbsu:

If we make a play for Yarran, we won't be under nearly as much bargaining pressure. It will allow us to be far more aggressive in our approach towards Carlton. If Yarran is desperate to come home, we will have Carlton over a barrel, unless he wishes to play for Failmantle.
